Very great place! I had 2 root canals done and they were absolutely amazing! When I told them I was in pain they were quick to schedule me in asap and took the time to explain everything in detail! They also ask constantly that I let them know if I was in any sort of pain or discomfort! I couldn't have ask for a better dentist! Thank you Dr. Stunkle and crew!

This place is super awesome!!! Great experience with all who work here. Lora is super funny and laid back. Don the is super laid back as well. She did a super job on my deep cleaning. She is super patient and understanding. Andrea is also funny and laid back she helps with fillings and things like that. Super cool. Then there is the doctor!!!! He is all about making your teeth great again!!!! His words not mine. Lol. But on a serious note he is open to what you want to do and not about trying to get as much as he can out of you. Thank you Dr Stunkel and to your team for a great experience.

Oh and just FYI I'M NOT STAFF just a dumb redneck truck driver!!!!!!

I won't go anywhere else . Great staff ! Competent staff , and they understand ins billing !! I've been told more than once my ins doesn't cover extractions . I paid $266 out of pocket for the last one . Turns out my ins does cover it ,and Laura at Quail Creek got my out of pocket ... $71 !!! And they gave me a quote for root canal & crown at a price NO ONE else could come close to . Going in tomorrow . I've never been excited to go see a dentist facility before , lol. The DR & staff were all great .

I went here after seeing really great reviews and after my boyfriend had gone for a riot canal and some filings and he had a really great experience. That was back around may 2016.
I've had my fair share of filings before and I came here to get a few done on each side, upper and lower. Nothing too invasive.
But I noticed something was off when they gave me the shot of anesthesia in my way back gums. I hadn't really felt the first punch too bad, but this one was BAD. I almost grabbed the doctors arm or of reflex. But it went away because it's anesthesia.
A week later I still couldn't feel half my tongue. It's was tingly, but for the large part it was still numb. Which is not normal.
Long story short, he had actually HIT the nerve and now I have nerve damage. It's less tingly, but almost 6 months later I can still feel the tingling. I looked it up and apparently it happens and there's nothing they can do to prevent from hitting the nerve because they can't see it and that's understandable.
I still won't go back there because he also drilled my teeth down way to far and now they're flat AND they're STILL sensitive to pressure. It hurts to chew crunchy things and sometimes just random soft foods to.
Another star was removed because shortly after my visit, my boyfriend had to go back because on of his fillings feel out and his root canal needed to be redone.
Just sloppy work in my opinion.
Would not recommend to anyone.

Boy do I wish I could give less than one star. I came to Quail Creek when I was referred by my previous dentist for a root canal due to her filling falling out of my tooth and causing tooth decay. I was 13/14 at the time. My root canal went well as far as I knew. The crown fit well and I was satisfied. I continued to go to Quail Creek instead of my old dentist. Last spring when I was 16, I made an appointment to address a filling that had worn down and fallen out (another wonderful job by my old dentist...) Dr. said it would be best to put a crown on it rather than fill it. I consented, and they took xrays and molds. I should mention that the staff was not friendly towards me. Especially when I came in on my own because both my parents were working. They had this clearly inexperienced redhead put my crown on. No one was watching her as she did this, and it was clear to me that she did not know what she was doing. She left excess cement all over my gums and new crown and told me it would “flake off on its own.” She also did not check my bite. I found this strange but said nothing, as again, I was 16 with no parent in the office to stand up for me. Anyways, two weeks later, when chewing should be perfectly fine on the new crown, I was eating a muffin. First time I had chewed on the new crown. It fell off. They couldn’t get me in for five days. I made an appointment for the early morning before I had to be to work at 10am. I arrive early to my appointment, they take me to my room immediately. I sat there for an hour and a half and no one saw me. I was furious. I got up and left, because I had to be to work. I had them schedule me for later in the week, on my day off. I came back for that appointment and they put the crown on no problem. In the weeks following, I start having pain. I go back to tell them about the pain, and they told me it was my bite. Crown got filed down, and the pain did subside. They also told me I had a couple of cavities this day. I planned on making an appointment for those fillings, then later that week they call my mom and tell her that they are no longer taking Medicaid.
I now have to find another dentist. Luckily, my dad (my parents are divorced) is finally in a stable enough financial position to get me private dental insurance. Now it is September, and I am 17. Yesterday I went with my stepmom to my new dentist office, with the friendliest staff I’ve ever met. They took xrays and the doctor came in to read them to me. He explained that the first root canal I got from Quail Creek is reinfected. So, I need another root canal. He also tells me that the crown that Quail Creek put in this year was put on an abscessed tooth, which they definitely should’ve seen in the xrays. Dr says that the abscess has been there for longer than six months, judging by the size. I’m in shock. He also tells me that the crown clearly does not fit my tooth. He tells me I need another crown and another root canal. He then informs me of my cavities and their locations. He also told me that I have a crossbite, which has never been mentioned to me in my entire life. This luckily doesn’t have to be corrected unless I start having complications. He then tells me that all four of my fully developed wisdom teeth must be pulled. The xrays show that my wisdoms are trying to erupt, but there clearly isn’t room. They are already pushing on my regular teeth. Quail Creek never mentioned anything to me about my wisdom teeth. Keep in mind, I’m 17, 14-16 when I was visiting them. I should’ve had my wisdoms removed last year. But, Quail Creek never said anything about them. My new insurance doesn’t cover the full cost of all of this work, and most of it is emergency and must be done soon.
Moral of the story, Quail Creek put a crown on my abscessed tooth, which they knew was there. They are lazy and rude. The doctor clearly does not care about his patients unless he’s making good money on them. They are not thorough in anything. Keep their hands out out of your mouth.

We live in Dixon, MO and I cracked a tooth completely and it was held in place only by my gums. This was last Friday, almost a week ago, around lunch time. NO ONE could see us in St. Robert, Waynesville or Rolla. We had to go to Springfield and even then, Quail Creek was the only one who could fit us in. Since we had a long ride ahead of us (1 hour 40 minutes), I read all the reviews. I know they had mostly good reviews, but some people mentioned a demeanor problem with the dentist or something. I saw him on 9/15/2017 and he was EXTREMELY professional, considerate and kind. He was thoughtful of our options and very attentive to my needs (and complete and utter fear of dentists). He didn't 'try to be funny' or come off as anything less than professional and concerned for my well-being. It was probably a 90 minute process to assess the damage, take X-Rays, talk, make a decision, get me COMPLETELY numb, use nitrous to help with anxiety, and extract the tooth (there was just no saving it, it was cracked across held in place only by the gums). He made sure I was entirely numb, asked me to just raise my hand if I felt ANYTHING - he was amazing. The office gave me the replacement retainer tooth yesterday so I can get a permanent solution here shortly, but I appreciated their professionalism, attention and patience. I am sure everyone has their own experiences but I never felt uncomfortable, neglected, rushed---I felt professionally taken care of.
