Rock Hill Dentistry

They have a different dentist every time we go there and they can't keep the records straight. The last dentist told me my daughter needed a filling but they now don't show that she needs one. I tried to make an appt 3 times with no return call. Then they rescheduled due to illness, then they called back to say they didn't realize it was a filling appointment (even though we clearly had the discussion multiple times about it) and she had to go to 2 appointments now bc it was a new dentist and she has to be seen once then get a filling. So sick of this place. I could go on and on. I'm going to end up paying cash at a different office just to get my daughter treated by a professional who knows what they are doing.

I give this dentist office a HUGE HIGH 5 all around. The beautiful smiles and welcoming greetings all encouraged me to become a new patient. During each of my visits I had a very easy time scheduling appointments and communicating my needs to not only the Dentist, but to the secretaries as well. I appreciate the available functioning kid-friendly toys and devices in the waiting area. The ambiance and environment is very inviting and comforting even to a nervous soul like myself. I recommend Rock Hill Dentistry for anyone who is new to getting any dental work.

This office cannot be trusted. They will try to max out your insurance as much as they can. I went in three years ago for a crown. They kept me there for 5+ hours and tried to max out my insurance with everything they could. Just because my “insurance covered it” they said I needed it. For example like a fluoride treatment that is usually done on kids and teens, not adults they said I needed it. They also overbilled my insurance company by billing for four 3D scans and X-rays I did not need as I went in just for a crown. When I called my insurance company they stated that is not normal but the insurance company didn’t mind because it still fell within my limits.

Now three years later, I contact them because the crown they installed has failed and I was told it comes with a 5 year warranty. They will not honor it first the reason was that I did not go in for a teeth cleaning once every 6 months. Then it changed to they will not honor because I did not get my crown inspected by them once a year. Then they tried to reason saying the doctor that put the crown in has retired so they can’t honor the warranty. The story goes on. The office manager Nathan admitted the crown does have a 5 year warranty, but the two lead doctors at this office is refusing to honor it. They simply will not. I asked for proof of any of the paperwork when I went into their office stating the requirements to maintain the warranty and Nathan admitted when he went through, they could not find anything in writing that states I had to do certain things to maintain the warranty. They still will not honor it and he tried to pass me off to a “regional manager” that does not have a say in the matter since it’s up to the doctors. Again, DO NOT Trust them. Go somewhere else and they will treat you more fairly and probably be easier on your wallet.

This is by far the best office I’ve gone to! From walking in the door to walking out of it, it was a great experience. Especially for someone who was always scared of dentists! Dr. Gritsan is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable when you’re in the chair. It’s almost like you’re just chit chatting with a friend during your visit. I had a wisdom tooth extracted, and it took her less than 10 seconds to get it out! Every single person that I encountered was so sweet and professional. Seriously THE best!!

I was really scared to change to a new dentist. I have had the same one for 25 years. My new insurance didn’t cover my old dentist so I had to find a new one. I tried Rock Hill Dentistry today and was extremely impressed. I actually feel my teeth were thoroughly cleaned. Even though I was late, they let me come in. They take a real picture of your teeth and X-rays. Then take you to the back area where you can watch TV while the actual dentist cleans your teeth. I was extremely happy. Really was the best experience I’ve had getting my teeth cleaned. Will defiantly be back every 6 months.

The staff at Rock Hill Dentistry is so kind and professional. I've never had such a comprehensive visit that was also pain free and fast. I had cavities filled during the same appointment as my x-rays and cleaning. The office is extremely clean and kid friendly. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely no words to describe this dentist office..okay I have some words.☺️☺️ The Office is modern with updated technology. the office manager, Alexa, was extremely nice & very helpful from setting an appointment to checking out. The dental hygienist, Asia, was supportive because I was very anxious about being at the dentist. She made me feel relaxed & kept me laughing! The benefits Coordinator, Allison, was extremely knowledgeable about my insurance plan & helped me understand everything. The dentist, Dr. Steppler, WOW!! He is incredibly kind, gentle & an easy person to have a conversation with. I’ve never seen a dentist that was so friendly & helpful. I haven’t been to a dentist in 8 years until today & I honestly can’t wait for my next appointment in 6 months. If you are looking for a new dentist, LOOK NO FURTHER. If you already have a dentist in St Louis, well you should probably change - because SERIOUSLY this place is amazing.

This is the best dental office/team I have encountered in all the places I've lived. Every single person that I interacted with (from reception to the dentist) was more than pleasant, and the time the hygienist took to explain everything being done and to answer my questions was unparalleled. As long as I am in the area I will continue to be a loyal patient. Absolutely recommended.

The clinic is exceptionally clean and organized. I was greeted with kindness and a welcoming smile when I entered. The staff was happy, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The dentist was professional and answered all of my questions and concerns.

I was a first time patient and my experience was great. Scheduling an appoint was easy. The office workers were pleasant and friendly. The hygienist was professional and made sure I was comfortable during all stages. And the doctor was very nice and put things in easy terms. The building was very clean and so was the equipment. Plus you get a nice water bottle after your first visit.
