Capehart has always made us feel like family from day one. My son (6) just had to have his first cavities filled and the staff made him feel comfortable from the moment we arrived to the moment we said our goodbyes. Dr. Sullivan was so kind and patient with my nervous boy. The front office staff (Melisa and Jaci) were so helpful in getting us in quickly before a big move out of state. We will miss Dr. Dworak and his amazing team!

Overall, it is a great Family Dentistry, not perfect, but their good qualities outweigh their bad ones. Let's start with the good things:

1. Quality of Service: The dentists and dentist's assistants are great professionals, and it appears to me as they are extremely careful and caring when treating their clients. I've been taking my kids there (again) for the past 7 months, for routine and thorough care, and the results have been outstanding. This is critically important because my kids are building good associations with going to the dentist instead of being scared to death of how much it is going to hurt.

2. Facility: Both of their facilities are in great condition, they have an open set up, so your kids don't completely disappear from view, and its simultaneously private enough to protect each individual being treated.

3. Scheduling: I scheduled my kids over the phone and in person. When we came back as returning clients, we had to wait a few weeks to get in, but now that we're in a flow, it all goes smoothly. They also have the ability to send you text reminders, which you receive when your next appointment time is approaching. * It is important to note that I haven't received any spam from them, so it appears as it was a good option to share my phone number for notifications *

Now the bad stuff:

1. Pricing: In my experience pricing is not done with the costumer’s best interest. I scheduled a procedure for one of my kids, and agreed to pay "X" amount of money out of pocket, and even paid some money in advanced to alleviate the burden later on. The day of the procedure, even though the service was great, and my son was well taken care of, my pocket wasn't. The dentist only did one half of the mouth, which I was surprised to hear at the moment, but agree with the reasoning behind it, however, the billing department decided that they were going to charge me almost double, because now I have to take him in again. (To be clear, I didn't have to pay the excess amount on the spot, but in the long run I'll end up paying almost double from "X”) I was comically trying to reason with them, without causing any problems, and I was told the price of the gas had quadrupled... I realize that my kid used the gas, but as part of their business strategy they should account for things like increased prices in materials, and have other ways to mitigate those problems, that don’t include blatantly charging a person almost double for a procedure they agreed to perform at a certain price. I know it’s business, but personally, that was a bad aspect of their business, I felt like those people that get the free make up at the mall, and next thing they know, it was free for only one half of the face, and now they have to pay a lot to get the other half done. (Not the best analogy, but it gets the message across) With this being said, my case could be an isolated incident.

We love Capehart Family Dentistry! Our 14 month old and 5 year old had their annual dentist appointments today and it was a lovely experience. They were great with both kids and ensured they both felt comfortable. Cannot recommend them enough for the whole family.

Dr. Rasmussen was amazing! My son needed 2 teeth pulled and it was a breeze bc of him. He knew the tricks to put him at ease, and paid attention to all my son’s body language to make sure he was ok. Highly recommend Dr. Rasmussen if you are looking for a dentist for kiddos!

Exceptional Service!

My family and I are new patients at Capeheart Dentistry. New patients are given a tour of the offices to set your mind at ease. The wonderful gift bags, free beverages, and fresh cookies are an added bonus. The entire staff are consummate professionals and treat you like family. We’ve had a great experience and do not plan to go anywhere else. Don’t walk, run to their office!😄 You won’t be disappointed.

Got some work done today ,and the assistant(I forgot his name ) and dentist were AWESOME I was nervous ,and had been traumatized by a lot of other dental care places ,and I felt no pain whatsoever,they told me if I feel pain let them know ,they were very accommodating,humorous,caring ,and professional also the receptionist are always sweet with a positive attitude which creates this very welcoming atmosphere!😁🌸

I’ve been here a few times on February 7th I went again to get a root canal 🦷 I hate going to the dentist ,but I love going to this one ,You get what you pay for !
I had the best Dentist & Dental assistant ,felt no pain at all during procedure ,Dental assistant was so kind made me feel so tooken care of ,I can’t thank you enough !😀

Right from the first time I walked in the door I was impressed with this place. The staff there is very friendly and welcoming. I have had work done before at a different dentist office out of state. The work I had done here was far superior. After having cracked fillings removed and replaced and a root canal, after no longer being numb, there was virtually zero pain. I was very impressed. I encountered one issue and called in and they got me in the same day at no charge to me. Dr. DuVall has taken such good care of me. His assistant has been absolutely amazing as well. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Capehart Family Dentistry is awesome!!! Michael & I have not been to the dentist for far too long and these amazing people with their beautiful facility helped us feel at ease and comfortable! And.... after 8+ years of Michael not going to the dentist and 5 years of me not going to the dentist... WE DON’T HAVE ANY CAVITIES!!! Yay!!!

Cleanings have been fine, but would not recommend for fillings. My first filling was to replace a older filling that Dr. Dworak claimed needed to be replaced. So I listened and replaced it. The tooth was never the same, it was sensitive to hot and cold. A year later the tooth was dead and I had to get a root canel. I know if I just left it alone none of it would of happened. So I told myself I wouldn't have them replace any other filling. My recent visit they said I needed a filling on a tooth that never had a cavity. I had Dr. Sullivan so I figured I would trust what she said and get a filling. Now the tooth hurts everytime I bite down on something hard. I went back and they adjusted it, but still no change so far. I'm giving it more time to see if it needs to heal more, but again I never had any issues with that tooth before they worked on it. I'm even hesitant to go back there and have them fix it cause all my trust in them is gone. They also did a filling on my daughter and her filling ended up falling out. So I would recommend a Pediatric dentist for kids, since the dentist I take them too now didnt even work on the teeth that capehart said needed to be fixed. He also said a filling wasn't the right choice since they will just end up falling out, so capehart did the wrong treatment for her to begin with. He also had to redo x Ray's since the ones capehart sent were not clear enough. So it's safe to say they dont do good quality work on fillings or know what teeth need to be fixed,and what treatment to perform. All of the fillings done by other dentists I never had any issues with, so that's how I know it's this practice. I will not have them do any other work. If the tooth is not hurting just leave it alone, cause capehart does more harm than good

I've been seeing the Dentist at Capehart dental for 2 years but today was the best appointment I've had. I saw a new dentist because I needed a last minute appointment and he, Dr. DuVall II, was fantastic. He talked to me like I was a person and gave me his advice on how to fix my issue. I was confident in his advice and calming nature. He is a Packers fan though so I'll try to not hold that against him! 😂😂 The assistant was amazing, I don't know if my chart says I have severe dental anxiety or my face was displaying panic but she checked on me throughout the entire process, talked me through everything they were doing and just spoke very kindly. She was easy to relate to and made me feel very comfortable. Lilly at the front desk was great at helping me understand insurances portion and getting me all checked out.
