This was my first time to visit Dr. Atencio and I liked everything about my visit. From the start when I walked in and how I was greeted to Diana that help Dr. Atencio in my dental work. Dr. Atencio really knows what he is doing and cares. I felt like I also received more up to date care procedures than I have experienced with my last dentist. I want to thank the Atencio team for a great experience all the way around.

I don't even know where to begin! I was beyond terrified of the dentist as a child. My teeth and gums were left untreated by a dentist for about 10 years. My mouth needed a lot of help, as I was in extreme discomfort. I was so lucky that a google search led me to Dr. Atencio. Not only did he save my teeth and gums, but he and his caring staff has helped me completely kick my irrational fear of dental work. Everyone in the office is so kind and so patient. Christina at the front desk is always welcoming and makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door, Felicia is the dental hygienist that I see for cleanings every 3 months, she takes her time and is very thorough. I recommend Dr. Atencio to all of my friends and family. If you are looking for a dentist in the area give them a call and see for yourself!

Best dentist ever, I use to hate going to the dentist. After my first experience, I will never go to another dentist until Mike retires. I look forward to going to the dentist. Most professional and kindest people you'll ever meet. Sorry Christina or anyone else that works there if I butcher the spelling of your names. Christina will get you your bang for your buck every time. Diana is so experienced and knowledgeable about her craft. If I could give them 100 stars i would, they have changed my life forever. Dr Atencio has been my dentist for over 15 years. Dr Atencio's Practice has grown over the years into a awesome well operated organized Dental Office. Dr Atencio and his Staff have always been wonderful . They very attentive to your dental needs .. each one of his personnel have their job to do and work together as a team So your appointment is not over booked.. They work with you on dental insurance and payment options ... If need be ...I have never went home in pain..He knows how to give those numbing shots... I have never felt any of the work I have ever had .. and I have had a lot and will be continuing to work but on my smile with the help of Dr. Atencio and His wonderful staff ..

While in Reno, visiting from California, I had a dental emergency. They got me in the same day, and both staff and Dentist were very nice. The Dentist could have easily said I needed a root canal right away and I wouldnt have been the wiser.Instead he prescribed some antibiotics and said to see how things were afterwards.(Still thinking I may need the root canal but not 100% sure).
I was impressed with his honesty and professionalism. I may just have a new Dentist in Reno, as it may be worth the trip!
