Familia Dental

I have move my 3 children from ruidoso to here with them, they have a great service. My youngest child was always afraid of dentist and with them she feels so comfortable.

My son has been going since he was a baby and staff has always been excellent with him. He is 5 now and recently had to get a tooth extracted. He was scared but Dr. Subgani was great with him.

I got an appointment within 2 days. Never happened before, even though it wasn’t an emergency. Doctor Naffah and Alejandra worked on me. They were very thorough and professional. They answered all my questions and provided options for work I need. They were friendly and very good. I’ve never had a better dental experience and I am 64 years into my teeth! The office is easy to find, clean, modern up to date equipment with plenty of parking.

I went to see what they could do about my broken tooth. After they took some xrays, I decided to just have it pulled because it was cheaper than getting a root canal. So I come back the next day for the tooth extraction and not a minute before they were going to numb me, the doctor said that it might be a bit more complicated for my tooth. She said that pulling the tooth may or may not leave a small hole that goes to my sinus above. She said if it did leave a hole that it can be fixed up afterwards at another place. Still, after hearing this on such short notice, I got cold feet and decided against it.
Fast forward a few months, I decide to get a root canal at a dentist that does them. It was there that the other dentist told me that he was surprised that they were going to pull my tooth without having me take any antibiotics for the infection I had in my tooth first, (which I did have at the time I went to Familia Dental). He told me that without taking antibiotics before pulling my tooth there was a good chance that the numbing for the procedure would not have been as effective with an infection present. Not only could I have been in a lot of pain, but further infection from the wound could have resulted and have made things a lot worse for me. This was scary to hear, and I think that Familia Dental felt very rushed at the time I was there. I never felt like I got the doctor’s full attention and now I certainly feel like steps may have been skipped for me. It felt like they just wanted to pull my tooth and be done with it and now I am so relieved I had decided against having my tooth pulled there. Maybe this place is fine for general cleanings and stuff, but I would recommend looking elsewhere for anything more than that.

Awesome service and the staff is amazing at setting the patients at ease. My children are never scared of the dentist appointments. Thank you to the entire staff.

I am sure the other dentist in this practice are just fine, however, the one I seen was horrible. I have broken teeth from past bad relationships and other issues. He yelled and belittled me about them. I left in tears. No one should ever feel that way. I already had a fear of the dentist from childhood trauma and that was horrible. I will never go back here or send my children here. I would rather drive out of my way to someone else.

Dr Chang and Keilah were quick, kind, and made my 9 yr feel at ease. She was very nervous at first. Im grateful for their gentleness towards her!

I went in for a cleaning and check-up. Dr. Chang and the entire staff were friendly. I had a good experience and enjoyed my visit with Ruby.

Dr. Subgani is amazing! She is so sweet and talks you through everything she does. All of the staff are friendly and smiling each time I come in. Now my whole family uses this office and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a great dental experience!

I had two abcessed teeth when I went to see Dr Ramya Subgani, DDS on August 26, 2020. When I left that office after having those two teeth extracted, I was smiling. It was the most gentle extraction I have ever experienced. I say this doctor is awesome. You will say it too if you get the pleasure of her experience. Thank you Dr. Subgani. Your the best ever!
