Dr. Prajina and Nina were most professional and helpful and pleasant. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and was feeling no pain and Dr. Prajina had patience of a Saint to work on my very deep fillings, excellent work, she is amazing, really appreciated.
They both deserve recognition, the staff in Colonie is the best.

6 mos ago I would of given them a 5 star .. I say that because I have been going to this dentist for over 20yrs … Dr Mandava is a great doctor … I had an appt was on time didn’t get in until 10mins later .. Dental hygienist did X-rays then told me I had to make another appt because she had to see her next client …. Didn’t quit understand why if I was on time .. so am waiting 10 - 15mins for her to reschedule me I then told her to call me when you have a date and time so I left. … I call 1month later still no appt .. called 2 months later no appt .. so I went in the office to speak to to Dr to see why I haven’t been rescheduled yet … They told me he was with an patient so I said I will wait … the office assistant told to wait out side of the office I said no I will wait here .. she then told me if I didn’t leave she was going to call the cops on me … I stay and got to the Doctor but then the office assistant came in as I was talking to him and keep cutting me off as am talking .. to make this short I never got rescheduled or an apology for their actions … I am now looking for a new dentist to go to ..

I will warn you visiting this place. Not recommended at all. My wife took my children for a visit. The girl on the front desk did not bother to ask for their insurance cards. During visit the nurse told there had been certain changes to their system. After the checkup, my wife went to confirm those changes when the front desk lady said, "Oh by the way, we dont take this insurance". The billing manager threw all the bill on us which was between $350 - $450. They sent it to collection department which threatened us to hurt our credit score. Eventually, we had to pay that amount. Be cautious, not get screwed like us. Do not visit this place!

Be aware! Without your permission, they may do examinations that not covered by your insurance! Two months ago, I just scheduled an appointment for regular cleaning and examination. But they performed panoramic X-ray on me without informing me that it is not covered by my insurance. And now they sent me a bill of $150. After a hard negotiation, they finally agree to discount the bill to $61. I will not go there any more! For the people who still go there, you'd better make sure what they do for you is covered by your insurance.

10 minutes late for a cleaning and actually had them on the phone at the light and was told come in for X-rays but can't clean your teeth. No thank you!! But when they call me the morning of my crown to reschedue because Dr. M had a dental emergency, I said no problem, even though I took a day off work. I'm glad I don't treat my patients like that. Dr. M is not only a top quality dentist, he is a very nice presence in the room and always remembers me on return visits. The entire staff staff is supportive, punctual and polite. On top of all of that, their prices are easy to digest. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Everything was good for years until this happened
I had an appointment and a day before I received a call from Christine or Christina for confirmation. After few hours she called me again and ask me to cancel the appointment and told me that my hygienist is not available for next two months. I made this appointment 6 months ago. She is very unprofessional and rude. She has no customer service skills and she shouldn't be on the job to deal with customers.
I will contact with the managers. She wasted my time that I reserved for dental appointment.

I have now had a number of visits. First impression is overall favorable. The only two complaints regarding my very first few visits were the long wait and lack of explanation of the potential cost of future planned procedures. Since my earlier appointments I find that the wait time is reasonable. The dentist has been very professional and appears to be very competent.

THE BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!!
I went in for a checkup and a cleaning. My hygienist was Heather and she was the ABSOLUTE BEST! She LISTENED to all my concerns and had such a wonderful bedside manner. She removed ALL the calcified tartar I had on my teeth and made my teeth LOOK AMAZING! She frequently checked in to make sure I was comfortable because I have sensitive teeth. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! The ONLY CON is that they are booked 1-2 months in advance so be ready for a wait BUT it's worth it!
