Got a smile makeover here and I'm thrilled I did.

I was brought to tears after seeing the work that Dr. Milito did. I never thought I could love my smile again, but she definitely changed my opinion.

when I called the office I specifically asked if they participated in UFT insurance. I asked again if they were in network and they reassured me that they were. If they had been honest and not Iied I would not have made an appointment for my daughter. They took advantage of my daughter and charged her $110 which Included a fluoride treatment. She should have only paid $15 dollars copayment for cleaning and X-rays . My regular dentist would have charged $0 since he is a real uft participant. The manager was uncaring and didn’t care that I was lied to from the very beginning. These people scammed us. They asked for fees of $1700 upfront to fill cavities and that my uft insurance would reimburse me. That is not how my insurance works. They took advantage of my daughter’s inexperience with insurance and charged her. When I called the manager she said that if she refunded my money minus the copayment, she would have to send me to collections for the original cost instead of $110. I felt scammed , misled and exhorted of my money. She said my daughter is old enough to make her own decisions and that she was informed of the charge. Why didn’t they tell me they didn’t accept my uft ‘s copayments? Why did they wait until after the uft free procedures were done? Why didn’t they contact me . My daughter has no clue how my insurance works. I felt misled and violated and I will never recommend this place filled with deceit. The manager further said you have the X-rays and the cleaning and that’s what you paid for and that they need to get paid too. She missed the whole point. My insurance covers these procedures!!! If they had been up front from the beginning I could have made the decision to go or not go but they tolally mislead me and took advantage of my daughter. On top of that she said she was giving me a break cause she could have charged me $200! It was crazy how the kept changing fees! First $40 , then $75 and Finally $110 when we asked for X-rays back. Make sure you get it in writing and don’t take their word. I don’t recommend this place. No professionalism!!!

Dr. Milito seemed to clean my teeth well, but when it came time to pay my bill at the end, things got weird. Dr. Milito told me that, based on the x-rays, I had been grinding my teeth, but couldn't speak any further about what I would need to do to fix it - she said I needed to pay $350 for an appointment in order to see what would need to be done. They asked for the payment upfront, and when I balked, they said they needed 20% to "hold the appointment." When I still refused, they just walked away and ran my card for the $71 charge for x-rays. I realized soon after I left the office that x-rays are always covered under my basic insurance, so I wasn't sure why I was being charged. I emailed them for documentation regarding the charge and was met with a bunch of BS about how they were planning on refunding me "if" my insurance covered the x-rays. No one said anything about refunding me at the time of the payment - no explanation that this was a payment just in case or anything like that. Generally, if there is a question about insurance covering something, I would expect that (a) they would explain upfront that the charge would be refunded if insurance covered it or (b) they would simply submit the claim and if it wasn't covered, to send me a bill. I emailed my insurance company for confirmation that everything was covered, sent that information to the office, and then they called me to refund my card. So, it did turn out okay in the end, but I do not think if I hadn't called and emailed them, that they would have refunded a penny. For that reason and the weird $350 appointment, I would not recommend Dr. Milito or Park Dentistry.

It was a good experience- the tech and dentist explained everything, and things went smoothly.

Brittany and Dr. Milito are just great. Brittany does such a good job of cleaning and making you feel comfortable during the process as well as explaining everything. Dr. Milito is very warm and knowledgeable. Had a great visit today, thanks guys!
