Great and clean environment! The staff was friendly and respectful! The dentist was very gentle while doing my cleaning. She also was very clear in explaining my treatment plan. I would highly recommend this dental office to my family and friends.

I'm a huge fan of Dr. Kalu and her staff. They are always polite and professional, and never waste my time. Exactly what everyone wants and needs in their medical staff. There are even toys for kids in the waiting area.

The location is incredibly convenient.
There's plenty of parking available. When you're done with your appointment you can grab lunch literally right next door, or take few more steps and get groceries at Publix, get a haircut, or relax with some coffee.

I took my daughter for an emergency appt. I had never been here before so I was not sure what to expect but I must say I was pleased with everything that was done. The office is super clean and everyone was very nice. The dentist sat with us and gave us our options. She really helped my daughter and I would definitely recommend this dental practice.

BUYER BEWARE!

First let me say I am not normally one to post reviews. However, with the lack of professionalism from the practice and the poor standard of care from the dentist that my daughter and I experienced I feel it is my duty to warn future patients.

With that said let me start by saying something kind. The reception area is nice and it was not difficult to get an appointment.

Our story – my daughter was a new patient and her first appointment was for a cleaning, which was very messy and not thorough (water on her face and clothes and took only 30 minutes). We spoke with the dentist regarding a dental plan to replace a current cap and put a veneer on another tooth that had been damaged. Not being a dentist and not knowing what to ask, I was depending on the expertise of the provider. The communication coming out of this practice is EXTREMELY POOR. The dentist did not explain the process and or manage expectations well, and only answered questions in yes and no responses. Looking back, we should have moved on to another practice at that point. It was a costly mistake for such important work. We were told that the work for the actual service - the temporary veneer and cap - would be a 2 hour appointment. The actual time was 5 HOURS! No apology or explanation for the lengthy appointment. The appointment was scary for my daughter and afterwards the veneer kept falling off (literally 8 – 10 times) before we could get back for the permanent.

We did go for a second opinion before the permanent veneer and cap were placed and that dentist was concerned that too much enamel was taken off for the veneer to adhere and also advised that the scale of the temporaries were a bit off. But having already paid for the service with Dr. Kalu and utilized the entirety of our dental insurance, we decided to return for the permanent work. When that happened we were ok with the work – not elated but just ready for the process to be complete. In less than a week the permanent veneer came off and my daughter was over 2 hours away at school. I called after office closing time and left an emergency message for the dentist that her work was failing. We were not contacted until the next day – and only by an administrative person – and were told that they do not do emergencies. Again, that had not been communicated and there was NO APOLOGY. We went back to the dentist that gave a second opinion. He had to replace the veneer with a cap, as the original placed by Dr. Kalu had failed and the bite was wrong. I am now having to pay out of pocket to correct Dr. Kalu’s mistakes.

This has been a VERY expensive lesson and I warn future patients to look elsewhere.

I am not a fan of most dentist, but I have to say my visit at New World Dentistry was by far my best visit to a dentist. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They have all the state of the art equipment. Dr. Jayne was very nice and always asked how you were doing. Loved this dentist.

Have seen a few dentists in the last few years since relocating to the area, and Dr. Jayne is the absolute best. Dr. Jayne is precessional and kind and immediately puts you at ease. I was quite the case to handle with extractions, fillings, and crowns needed and Dr.Jayne made it all as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can possibly be. The office is scrupulously clean at all times. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. Nicole is very knowledgeable about insurance and procedures, and Megan is an excellent hygienist. There is Keurig machine and bottled water available in the waiting room to meet your needs, and even a kids play area. Dental health is VERY important so make an appointment today! Highly recommend!

I was seen at New World in December of 2017. I had to make a visit here on emergency due to them being the only place in my area open on a Saturday. (My dentist is actually in Pineville and I could not make the trip.) I am normally seen twice a year and I had an issue that day where one of my molars had an old filling fall out, so I wanted to be seen right away.

Now this place looks professional but the assistant who took my x-rays and the head dentist who saw me (Dr Jayne) were not. It was very strange that they spent nearly 10 minutes just showing me around their new office before being seen. I felt like I was on a tour which had nothing to do with my being there. After reviewing my x-rays she was quick to point out that I needed a root canal and tried to set me up for my next visit and the receptionist walked me through a payment plan to help pay for it, even though I have insurance. They were going to charge me several thousand dollars for the procedure.

I'm glad I decided to get a 2nd opinion from my actual dentist whom I went to see a few days after. What really shocked me was that my dentist (Dr. Pourlos) kept requesting for Dr. Jayne to send over the x-rays she took. He wanted to see why she recommended a root canal. The request was made three times and Dr. Jayne's office never responded back. My dentist showed me and explained that I did NOT need a root canal. My tooth still had a good nerve and after x-rays which he took, he tested it to make sure it was still alive. If I had taken Dr. Jayne's advice I would have spent a lot of money up front on having a root canal which I did not even need.

I waited over a year to write this review because I wanted to make sure my tooth was fine. I just saw my dentist again last week and everything looks great. Stay away from New World. I cannot recommend this place and do not trust this practice.

This place is AWESOME. Dr. Jayne is simply AMAZING. She has a great staff that completely has your BEST interest at heart. I can't find enough words to describe how effective and outstanding this dentist is. Can’t wait to go back for my next visit. So thankful that I received their flyer in the mail and overly joyed that I made The appointment. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend New World Dentistry to EVERYONE I KNOW. (Latonya Smith)

Dr. Jayne and her assistants were excellent. They helped me get my smile back! I recommend them because they are absolutely wonderful!!!
