Friendly Dentistry

First time at this practice, and it was a great experience. They observed strict Covid protocols and everyone was so friendly! Janice was my hygienist and she took the time to get to know me and my dental history. She did a great job! Dr. Blue also spent the time to get to know my dental history and took time to walk through some options for me. I'm definitely glad I chose this practice!

My experience was wonderful. I had an early morning appointment and they gave me a nice warm blanket to snuggle with. They were gentle and kind throughout the process and constantly checked in with me to make sure I was doing OK. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I’m so happy I found friendly dentistry! I had not been to the dentist in a decade and was very nervous about my visit. Each person in the office was kind and considerate, walked me through the whole process, and it was a fantastic visit. The facility felt clean and safe and the care I received was top notch. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to go back to the dentist!

I had an amazing first appointment at Friendly Dentistry! Honestly, I have never experienced the level of customer attention and service at any other medical facility like I received here. Every staff member—from the front desk to the doctor—was warm and welcoming. Traci, my hygienist, made me feel at ease and relaxed immediately. She was not only professional, but very kind and really took the time to get to know me and how I wanted to be treated as a patient (another first for me in ANY medical facility)! Dr. Ribando was equally as kind and thorough in learning my history, explaining the exam step-by-step, and answering any questions. The office itself was bright, inviting, and clean. I will be recommending Friendly Dentistry to everyone—it truly is a top notch office!

Excellent experience both times I have been to Friendly Dentistry. Dr. Ribando has been great to work with. I appreciate his advice. Pam was my hygienist and she was great. For many years the staff at Friendly Dentistry have always made me feel comfortable and safe. I live over an hour away from the office but the drive to Greensboro is well worth it. Dr. Wilkinson started restorative work years ago and he and his team has maintained my dental health with great satisfaction. So happy to have them and would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Burton is incredible! Both my fiancé and I go to to friendly dentistry and it is by far the beat dentist both of us have ever been to. We would recommend them to everyone. Not only do the make the experience enjoyable but they help my fiancé overcome her fear of the dentist. Could not say enough good things.

I don’t even know where to begin. I had an inflamed gum that grew over my wisdom tooth and was extremely painful while talking or chewing. I let it go for three days with Orajel and Tylenol. When I realized it wasn’t going to fix itself, I called Friendly Dentistry in the morning, frantically worried about fixing this problem before I head out on a 2 week work trip. Emily helped me set up a same day appointment and was very understanding, helpful, and professional. I walked in and instantly felt comfortable in the modern waiting room and they even have a fridge with complementary bottled water. The facility itself was very clean and all instruments were up with the times. Jodi, my hygienist, was very polite and provided great conversation which doubled as a fantastic distraction from this stressful situation. She took pictures and X-rays of the infected area for the Dr. to review. She introduced me to Dr. Burton, repeating word for word what I told her about myself, showing she listened and was glad to have met me. Dr. Burton himself has an extreme skill that I am very grateful for. His calm and polite demeanor along with his steady hands made the giant numbing needle going into my gums feel like a mere mosquito bite. He took his time during the procedure, sizzling out pieces of gum with a laser until he sculpted my gum back to how it should be, like a modern day Michelangelo. He even took time out of his night to text and see how I was doing and if I had any questions, a promise he made before leaving and he followed through. I respect that. They described recovery would be as if I burnt my gums on hot pizza, a feeling I am all too familiar with, and that is exactly how it’s been. I was able to eat dinner for the first time in 3 days and the recovery pain is bare minimal. It feels like fresh life has been put back in to me after so much pain and suffering night and day. After accepting me as a brand new patient, understanding the pain level, and providing same day treatment along with the entire pleasant experience, I will become a long time patient for cleanings and checkups. After my wife heard about my success story, she is convinced to change dentists. Friendly Dentistry not only has their name because they are off of Friendly Ave, but they have earned it with their kindness, generosity, and professionalism.
