The periodontist and the staff are absolutely wonderful and very caring. They make the atmosphere of going to the dentist pleasurable.

The periodontist was too busy, seemed harried. She didn't take time to explain the treatment plan nor other options. She recommended surgeries that are really not required.

BEWARE - THIS PLACE ENGAGES IN ILLEGAL BILLING!!!!! This place charges the patient the difference between their insurance’s negotiated rate and the procedure’s FULL PRICE…. Illegal. They charged me $760 when Aetna’s negotiated rate was $377 and my 10% patient responsibility should have been ONLY $37. They charged me $104 for my son’s 100% covered cleaning when it should have been $0. They charged me $290 for my other son’s cavity when it should have been $29.40. I called for months, they dodge my insurance provider’s calls, and they stated several times / continue to state they are allowed to charge the patient above the insurance rate to cover the full price of service!!!!

Quickly and efficiently diagnosed the source of my discomfort and a plan was put in place to fix it the same day. Dr Z is very gentle and considerate.

Absolutely the worst medical/dental experience my wife and I have ever had was at the Dublin, Ohio location of Great Expressions!! From the small cramped waiting room to the cattle stall like care areas, this place was so far below expectations it’s not even funny. Then we get to the actual service that included misquoted insurance coverage. Upon arrival the receptionist said our visit would be covered 100%. Then low and behold we were told when we left that nothing would be covered. The office in general has been worn hard and put away wet. X-ray chest shield wreaked of body odor. The periodontist started the examination on the wrong tooth!! Said at one point, “this is horrible” when she actually started to examine the true problem area. Then gave us an estimate of $5200.00. Not terrific bedside manner to say the least. She bolted out of the room and we were left with her assistant who did the best she could to answer our many questions. In summary, STAY AWAY FROM GREAT EXPRESSIONS!!

Great Expressions Dental Centers have been extremely accommodating with regard to scheduling around my calendar and changing health conditions. I was able to attain appointments several times on days when I called and thus not waiting days for an open slot. I value this type of service!
When procedures were recommended the Doctor explained all my options, answered all my questions and even brought up topics I had not considered. This inspires complete confidence in their work!

They always explain charges and insurance coverage before proceeding with treatments. This office makes sure you understand what needs done and why. They are very nice and always make me feel comfortable. The appointments are always quick with VERY little waiting before being seen. I can not say enough positive things about my visit to the dentist.

Fair warning, go anywhere else. This place is a disgrace. The treatments are a joke. The front staff is the only positive thing about this place.

This is the most salesy, upselling, pushy “dental” business office I have ever been to in my life. I have had braces, taken care of my dental health, do not smoke & have great hygiene overall. They found every reason and excuse to push me towards (seemingly urgent) care that was NOT covered under my dental insurance plan which meant I had to wipe out two HSA accounts before leaving their offices same day because they wanted paid right then and there! It was so stressful/ confusing/ overwhelming and I felt pressured & bullied into accepting the proposed treatment as if I had no other choice. They even advised me not to bother calling my insurance and tried pushing other products on me like mouthwashes & custom made mouth guards that again were not covered by my insurance plan. Overall it was not exceptional care, their bedside manners & empathy were non-existent and everything they did was centered around business and taking me for all I was worth in my HSA accounts. I am NEVER going back and canceling the second appointment they scheduled within a 3 month period (not covered by insurance) to do more proposed “required” treatments. I will find someone else to do regular 6 month preventative care that is covered under my insurance.

Dental hygienist was great. Otherwise was very disappointed. I scheduled what I thought was a cleaning and to look at a sensitive tooth. When I got there was told it’s only a review with the dentist. Did not clean my teeth or offer a temp solution to the sensitive tooth. Instead presented me with a litany of suggested dental work. Sad, but I left with no work done and still a sore tooth. I’ll look for another dentist. Just a note, I didn’t plan on writing a review but the office sent me a note to provide one.
