Prior to visiting Contemporary Family Dentistry (CFD) I had numerous unpleasant and ineffective dental procedures that left me intensely apprehensive. I have been a client of CFD for several years now and each time I feel perfectly confident and highly satisfied with the work performed by Dr. Henderson, her assistant and hygienists. I actually ENJOY my visits, they are painless (and effective) the whole time, every time. All the staff of CFD are welcoming, take the time and effort to develop personal relationships & are highly receptive to individual needs. I trust Dr. Henderson & her staff implicitly with my dental care, she has a remarkable background, including a degree in Aerospace Engineering! The implementation of technology, experience and artistry make CFD the very best & I am grateful I found such a fantastic team for my dental care.

Hands down the best dental experience I've ever had. They're all so genuinely nice, helpful, and nonjudgmental. It was actually a very relaxing experience, which is almost comical because virtually nobody likes going to the dentist. 😄 Needless to say, I definitely recommend them!

I went to Contemporary Family Dentistry as a new patient because I have bad TMJ pain and needed a new night guard (mine is broken) or some other solution for my pain. As others have said, the dentist breezed through what sounded like a pre-prepared script with me before quickly leaving and not asking about any of my health concerns. She also talked to me like I was a child which was super degrading. I tried explaining to the hygienist that I needed help with my jaw clenching and she was kind of condescending about the type of night guard I have and also did not offer any other solutions.
I chose this dentist because they have a whole page on their website about TMJ pain and the different solutions for it, but they don't actually seem to want to treat patients for that (or maybe they just don't care about new patients). This is the only Google review I have ever left and I felt like I had to because I was so disappointed. I've been dealing with bad jaw pain for years and thought I would be finally getting help but instead I just cried in the parking lot.
If you just need a cleaning, I'm sure this office is fine for you, but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

I have been going to Dr. Henderson for about 4 years now! I feel like I am going to a boutique dentist. She is always so friendly and caring. She takes her time to explain all the available options to me. My comfort is her priority. I used to be scared of dental appointments, not anymore. Her team is always so nice and friendly as well.
