I have been to many Dentists during my life (my career took me all over the country). When I retired to Bend, I set out to find a Dentist who was competent, caring, conservative (addressing my actual dental needs and not "selling" dentistry) and who had an office staff that reflected these attributes.
Dr. Jessica Henderson exceeded ALL of my expectations. She was an Aerospace Engineer who later completed dental school (at the excellent OHSU). I presented to her with a lot of aging restorations, failed root canals and periodontal disease -- a VERY complicated case.
She did an extremely thorough examination and then explained to me my treatment options. I needed to see a number of dental specialists (Oral Surgeon and Periodontist) and Dr. Henderson referred me to two outstanding specialists with who she works closely. I received excellent care and it was obvious that the specialists hold her in very high regard.
Dr. Henderson then completed my remaining dental treatment. It has now been nearly one year later and I have never felt better about my dental health.
Through the years, I have noticed that great doctors have great office staff. In Dr. Henderson's case, her office staff are friendly, skilled and obviously love working with her.
Contemporary Family Dentistry has earned my highest recommendation!

My whole life I’ve been extremely scared to be in the dental chair!! After meeting Dr Jessica Henderson I felt very relaxed and comfortable!! I needed to have dental work done following orthodontics, I met with Dr Jessica Henderson for comprehensive exam and she was very thorough and understood my concerns and fears! Yesterday was the big day for my treatment, I was so relaxed in the chair due to how gentle Dr Henderson was, at one point I fell asleep. Once the treatment was done I cried, my smile was AMAZING even my husband, family, and friends couldn’t believe my smile. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Jessica Henderson for her compassion and excellence in dentistry!! Also the entire dental team made me and my husband feel very welcome!!! Thank you truly is enough to say to Dr Jessica Henderson for the excellent treatment she has done for me!! I’m looking forward to completing the rest of my treatment!!

Dr. Henderson is amazing! As a dentist she takes time to truly educate you on what procedure she will be doing and why she’s doing it. Dr. Henderson and her staff always give the best dental care and go above and beyond. My Daughter was having horrible tooth pain, Dr. Henderson Immediately saw what the problem was, got her all fixed up and out of pain, she made the whole experience a great and positive one. She took the time to explain to my daughter in kid dentist terms the importance of keeping your teeth healthy and happy.

I went into Contemporary Family Dentistry a few weeks ago after over ten years of dental neglect. Needless to say I had cavities and some of my teeth needed crowns. They fixed my teeth and now I have beautiful crowns of zirconium, which is apparently extremely durable. The process was relatively painless and actually fun because they were very upbeat and cool. They answered all my questions, even pointless ones, like how do I replace all my teeth in a car crash scenario. I felt the quality of the work was exceptional and I know I can always go back if problems arise. They were willing to work with me on a payment plan too although it ended up being unnecessary. I had my teeth whitened and they are brilliant. My favorite part? I had a chip on my front tooth that always bugged me and originally she smoothed it for a vast improvement. I was interested in going even further and she rebuilt the tooth, rounded out another one, evened out the bottom, filled a small gap, and afterwards my bite was amazingly more comfortable. I now have great teeth! It was well worth it and if I could give six stars I would.

So excited that my sister and I went to see Dr. Henderson in Bend, OR. We met her at a wedding in Florida. She was so confident that she could close my sister’s gap tooth that we flew across the country to see her. My sister came out of the treatment room in an hour and a half looking like a different person! I could not believe my eyes. My sister has had that gap her entire life, and now it’s gone. Totally worth flying across the country! Thanks Dr. Henderson!

Wow, what an absolutely amazing group of talented, sweet, and professional women! I have never felt more at home in a dentists office. Doctor Hendersen is above and beyond what the average dentist is. She genuinely cares about her patients and gives 110% to absolutely everything. She completely restored my bonded front teeth that had been neglected by my previous dentist and left me with a smile that I thought I would never see again. I could go on as I have nothing but phenomenal things to say about these amazing ladies. If you are on the hunt reading google reviews for the best dentist in town she is RIGHT HERE. Go Go Go. You won’t regret it!

My family and I moved here in October of 2018 when we were displaced by hurricane Florence. We picked Contemporary Family Dentistry solely from online reviews, and I am so glad we did! My entire family goes to this location and we love it. My two sons, my wife and myself have all had our teeth cleaned here. I personally have had two crowns replaced, was fitted for a mouthguard for snoring and had my teeth whitened. Every single visit to this office is fantastic. Doctor Hendersen and her staff are absolutely amazing. I also have to send a special shout-out to Sam for all the outstanding work she's done for me personally.
