APPAULSE FOR WELLNESS CENTERED DENTISTRY. What an amazing practice Dr. Whicker has created in Eugene! I first went to Dr. Whicker seeking removal of toxic amalgam fillings that been in my teeth since I was a child/young adult. They were cracked and contained mercury. Seeking to be healthy I wanted a dentist who would remove and safely dispose the old filling material, replacing them with safe ceramic restorations. Besides the care for health and safety, what additionally impressed me about Dr. Whicker is how he makes me feel important by listening to me and answering my myriad of questions. He also backs up his excellent work. Plus his staff is attentive taking effort to make
me cozy and comfortable for long procedures. To increase my satisfaction here there are two extras at Wellness Centered Dentistry. The waiting area is inviting and non-medical with a feel for the natural world of the Pacific Northwest. Then there is a lovely surprise after any visit!

I'm a former patient of a little over year ago. They have amazing staff and dentistry, but unfortunately are very expensive and were not a preferred provider of Moda at the time so I was forced to find a more affordable option. They're a fantastic Mercury-free option, though I'd have to say my experience and comfort at my new dentist right down the street is even better.

Mindy is an awesome hygienist! She really knows her stuff. Very skilled with all her tools, and full of knowledge about all things dental. I always feel very comfortable during my cleanings. Thanks Mindy!

I had to have a tooth pulled recently and wanted to go the holistic route. This practice was not part of my insurance plan, unfortunately, as I'd love to have Dr. Whicker as my regular dentist. He and his staff were wonderful, caring, and just so very nice!

The dentist including other members of the staff made sure I was comfortable on every level. They were very friendly. They were efficient but I did not feel rushed in any way. My questions were answered patiently and in layman’s terms. Overall a good experience.

Although I had a couple great years with a hygienist, Julie, who taught me how to use my Water-pik properly, as well as using my Sonicaire brush more effectively. My gums were in the best shape they have ever been. However, unfortunately for me, Julie retired.

Dr. Whicker finds great people to staff his office. However, my issue was that each year Dr. Whicker attempted to persuade me to get over $10,000 in dental work each time I came in. He really never explained why he believed I needed the surgeries, along with what seemed to me was mainly actually cosmetic surgeries.

I had been to 5 different Biologic dentists over the past 20 years (in different states), and was never advised by any of those doctors that any of those procedures, which Dr. Whicker counseled me on, was either necessary dental work, or needed at all.

That is all I can tell you about why I left his office. Having "whiter" teeth is not going to improve my life in any way that I can think of. Especially, at that price, which my insurance is not going to pay for.

Because of my genetics and pre WCD dental health history, I consider myself something of a "professional patient" at Wellness Centered Dentistry. I feel like Dr.Whicker and the staff there are a divine gift that I am so happy to have in my life. My overall health and of course my level of jaw pain are incredibly improved and my life is better for it. In addition to having huge metal fillings replaced, Dr Whicker has done a dozen allergen-free crowns (I am allergic to a material found in regular crowns), repaired my broken front teeth to perfection, and massively improved my daughter's smile with a set of perfectly applied porcelain veneers.They have always treated me with respect, kindness, gentleness and care. My teeth are beautiful and healthy thanks to their expertise. I will stay with WCD for the length of the business!

Christie was friendly and explained as she went along - didn’t just reposition my head. She was gentle with the gum measurements that have hurt in the past. I appreciated being given choices - it felt like I was participating in my care not just enduring it. The experience was very positive in a stressful day. As always, the staff was VERY friendly . I went in for a normal cleaning. Christy accomplished this efficiently and comfortably. In addition to getting my teeth very clean, she provided very good, specific information to assist me in my at-home maintenance. The information was specific to my circumstances -- not generic -- and I appreciate that. Highly recommended!

Dr. Whicker has a gentle touch, an excellent chair side manner and thoroughly explained the procedure beforehand. Dr. Whicker called me after hours to ensure all was well on the day of my procedure. I always feel comfortable and know that I am in good hands. Heather, Angie, Lizzie and Julie are very courteous and professional!
