As is most often the case, I was curious how the change from my previous dentist to Dr. Alexis Atchinson would work. I was extremely pleased with the entire staff's professionalism and efforts to ensure my new crown was as comfortable and painless a "prep and install" as possible. I also appreciated the time and effort that was spent making sure that once the crown was set, that it felt normal (to my tongue) with no rough edges or surfaces and provided me a "perfect bite". Since I floss regularly, they even had me floss around the new crown to make sure there weren't any "hidden" places upon which it would shred or catch. That, in my mind, was another example of their excellent attention to detail and concern for doing the work to the best of their ability.
Of special note, I especially admired the upbeat attitude between Dr. Atchinson and her staff. For me, this almost playful yet very professional relationship they exhibited is a rare and valuable combination that set me totally at ease and gave me absolute confidence in the dental work they were doing. This probably isn't said very often by most folks about their dentist, but I AM looking forward to my next checkup!
