Went for Dental Cleaning 3 months after seeing Dentist for aching tooth. The Aching tooth was not in the same location and was not the same issue. During the visit of the ache, the office took a panoramic xray and told me my teeth were healthy. The ache did subside as it was related to a traumatic injury.
During the cleaning 3 months later, they find a large infection on the back tooth, which the assistant says is "glaringly obvious" that I do not deny, but during the xrays and the once again panoramic xray the assistant said it had been there for some time. I watched her load the xrays and both the panoramic from the last visit and this one was from todays visit was on the screen.
I waited until the Dentist came in and asked how their office missed something so obvious and in front of me , the assistant deleted the first panoramic and tells the dentist that I never had xrays before..... what lies.... Good thing I have the print out of the first one done they gave me 3 months ago.... how dare you try to make me feel like I didn't remember the xrays from last time!
I will never let them touch me again if they are so eager to delete things in front of their patients to make them look more honest. I wasn't blaming them and we are all human and things can be missed, but such blatant actions will not be tolerated.
