I never knew first class dentistry exists, and even at a reasonable price! From the minute you walk in the door to the time of departure you feel welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of. I highly recommend Dr Gibson and his staff at Smileworks! They are without a doubt the best in town.

Love the folks at Smileworks. Dr. Gibson and Kara are not just great dental experts but also great people. Beige is so helpful as well with scheduling and especially when needing to make a last minute change. Being able to use the noise cancelling headphones while watching the news during my appt also a big plus. Highly recommend.

It is really hard for me to find the words to express how thankful I am to Dr. Gibson and his staff. Dr. Gibson went above and beyond working with me to decide what the best outcome was for my complicated dental work. Dr. Gibson is intelligent, caring, gentle, compassionate and so creative..he puts a lot of thought in what he does!

Unfortunately, I had to move out of the state which is about 9 hours away and I drove back to him to have him do this work. If possible I would drive that distance again to see him for any major work. I have seen many dentists in the past and was so terrified! In the past I would rather do anything then go to a Dentist. And their work was unacceptable. Dr. Gibson relieved me from this fear. Storm just happened to be his assistant on the days I was there. She is so personable and caring...a real keeper ☺️ I am sure all of Dr. Gibson’s staff have the same caring personalities just by talking with them. This is the best dentist's office in Charleston! Staff is friendly and helpful. I have always had severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist but I was so relaxed during my cleaning! You can just lay back put some headphones on and tune out everything. It's like being at a spa, and I love the warm lavender towel they give you afterward!

We brought our twin toddlers in a couple months ago for a check up (we made the mistake of taking them to a pediatric practice for their first visit) and their trip this time was a million times better than the first. Their first appointment at the other practice their heads were held down forcefully and they were terrified, I have never seen my children cry like that. The hygienists at Smileworks had so much patience with them and took the time to show them the instruments and ease them into the appointment. I wish I had taken them to Smileworks from the beginning, but wasn’t sure if they accepted pediatric patients. That was my fault not to ask, and I won’t make the mistake of taking them anywhere else again.

I also want to mention Stormy and Dr. Durlach, who are always so pleasant and kind. I have always had anxiety when it comes to dental appointments, but since coming here that anxiety has gone away knowing my family and I are in great hands.

Any dentistry will take care of your teeth. I go to Smileworks because they take care of people. Silvia, Dr. Connor, and the whole crew are top notch. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Charleston.
