The dentist is great. The problem is how they bill. I went for my normal regular dentist appointment which my insurance has always covered 100%. Instead of the office using the code for comprehensive evaluation which my insurance covers 100% they used the code for periodontal evaluation which my insurance does not cover at all. To my surprise and disappointment, I was charged $116 out of pocket for this evaluation and if I knew I would have politely declined. Since there is lack transparency in billing, I felt a review would be in order to warn others to not fall in this trap.

Alani Dental Center is the #1 dentist office hands down. The entire staff from the receptionist, to the dental hygienist, to the dentist themselves goes above and beyond to create a comfortable, relaxing and stress-free environment. I look forward to my next appointment every time I leave simply because of the amazing atmosphere. My dental hygienist Ashley is most definitely top tier. Ashley is very professional, informative, caring, and welcoming every time. I just love Ashley so much I can’t compliment her enough or say enough about her. Can’t forget about Dr. Wesam Alani either who is just as brilliant, very accommodating, friendly, and has extraordinary professionalism. The office is clean, and neat every time. For the first time, I can say that I actually look forward to going to the dentist. I've seen both Dr. Deena and Dr. Wesam, and they are both perfectionists... which is exactly what you want in a dentist, especially when having cosmetic work done.
Over the years, I've had several different veneers placed on a front tooth fracture from a childhood accident. I've gone to highly rated dentists while living in California and will say Dr. Deena shaped two beautiful veneers that are far superior. They are perfect in shape and color while still looking very natural, unlike many veneers that lack that variance in color of natural teeth. She's an artist!
Their dental assistant, Kendyll, is also highly competent and friendly. Donna in the front office is always so lovely to chat with and is on top of all the billing and insurance dealings. She does a great job explaining everything. Alani Dental Center is very fair with pricing and has never tried to talk me into unnecessary treatments, unlike some dentists I've been to over the years. Highly recommend!
