Haven't been to the dentist in almost 9 years... mainly bc I was scared from the last horrible experience from another place... but I'm getting old and figured I need to take care of myself! After being traumatized for 9 years and walking into Abilene Dental Care, I forgot why I was afraid! They evaluated my teeth and in no time had set up a schedule for me to come back over a period of time to correct very single thing wrong with my teeth! Finally I don't have to worry about hiding a smile or be afraid of going to the dentist... these people know what they are doing, I have only been to 2 out of like 5 appointments scheduled for me and I am actually looking forward to going now! Highly recommend! Don't let the fear of bad news or the fear of past experiences stop you from going any longer... bc from my experience so far, only good has come from me making that first call!

Dr. Johnson is a true professional. She makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. The staff is extremely friendly. They help you get in and get out in a timely manner. I would recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone.

Communication about the ending process needs to be better. When telling a kiddo they are going to get their braces off then saying it’s just a consult for taking braces off. That’s disappointing to that child. And consults for braces for 2 of my kids was consult then same day braces were put on. Now I have to pull my kiddo out of school another day to just put them on.

I was visiting relatives in Abilene when I broke off almost an entire front tooth. This left me unable to smile in photos with my new grandson! My daughter called Abilene Dental as she knew Dr. Johnson from her church and she said to come in that Monday morning. Within an hour, I had a temporary fix that allowed me to smile and get through my visit (with pictures) and back to South Dakota. Everyone there was just wonderful. They were very friendly and professional. I don't believe I would have gotten this rapid service anywhere else. Thank you so very much for saving the day for me!
