Forest Family Dentistry North

My teeth suck, so I grew up loathing the dentist. When I moved to Austin two years ago and found Forest Family that all changed. I've had so many positive experiences here that I felt I finally had to write a review. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Dr. Rick is by far and away the best dentist I've ever had. He knows his stuff, and you can tell he really cares about his patients.

Thank you guys for making going to the dentist no longer a pain!

I was referred to Dr. Rick initially to have my teeth cleaned. I pretty much fell in love with him and Forest Family Dentistry at that point. Dr. Rick and his team are friendly and extremely detail-oriented. We ended up discussing a veneer that I had put on when I was in high school that I wasn't really happy with. He suggested that a crown would be a better match and more in line with my desired look. Keep in mind that this is one of my front teeth so it's always been an issue for me. From the initial visit for the temporary, the color match visit at the lab, and the final install of my crown, Dr. Rick and the team were there to answer any questions and reassure me. The end result is fantastic. The color match and look of my front crown is perfect and I smile wide now! I now live in NY state and will only let Dr. Rick touch my teeth and plan appointments around visits back to TX. If you're looking for a dentist, you won't regret Dr. Rick and Forest Family team. Also, their new location up North is really nice.

I've been going here for 2 years and Dr. Rick does a wonderful job. I could've written a review for just how good his work is every time I went in but it would've been somewhat redundant. In all truth his work is superb and Forest Family is a fine setting. I'm glad he's been working on my teeth and I've had major work done here. (3 crowns, 2 bridges)

I was hit by a car walking home with groceries and the incident knocked out my front teeth. What made the entire experience more bearable was the incredibly compassionate response I received from the human beings at the following places: Dr. Rick @Family Forest Dentistry. Quite frankly, like a superhero in my thoughts for all the work he’s done with after and prior to the incident. There isn’t enough ways to thank you. I am deeply anxious about all medical stuff. The noises in the dentist scared me. But they were very understanding and patient. I told them the surprises make me anxious so if they can explain as they go it helps me contain me anxiety. They listened well to my boundaries both verbal and nonverbal. They didn't shame me for crying. They tried their best to get my name right which I appreciate. The technology is less loud. More sensory friendly and less claustrophobic feeling. I had been panicking about this all day but it went ok. And I'm really glad for that..

Great place. Highly recommended! Facility is clean, staff is excellent, and you never feel uncertain about your teeth after you leave. They do a great job here. If you need a dentist, go here. You won’t regret it.

I love Dr. Rick at Forest Family Dentistry. He’s smart, funny, and cute. He is great during uncomfortable procedures in providing gentle reassurance. I feel that my dental care is in great hands with Dr. Rick. I recommend Forest Family Dentistry to all of my friends... and anyone who will listen.

I haven't been to the dentist in years and i finally decided it was time to go and i found forest family dentistry! Dr Greg is amazing and made everything feel so comfortable. Hannah and Yvette are so fantastic! Made me feel so comfortable and put everything at ease!!! I recommend this place to anyone who has a phobia of the dentist

Friendly staff. Easy and fast to make appointments. Very thorough!
