Ideal Dental Uptown

Prior to my outstanding experience at Ideal Dental - Uptown it took me more than 5 years to go back to the dentist due to VERY poor encounters. HOWEVER, Marquishia assured my comfort, leaving me confident I was in great hands. Actually, the entire staff is completely remarkable, friendly, loving, and inviting. To be honest I thought I would regret going to the dentist again this time, but this experience has me looking forward to my next visit. ;)

I have been going to Ideal Dental for a few years now, and have always been very satisifed with my experience. The staff is always so warm, inviting, and professional which is the perfect combination for me when seeking any type care. They are always upbeat, and know how to make you smile and laugh. I really appreciate how Ideal Dental Uptown focuses on relationships rather than moving as many patients through their rooms as quickly as possible like many of the other practices around town.

Aside from being a great group of people, their work is consistently thorough and high quality. I look forward to all of my exams, and I will continue to go to Ideal Dental Uptown for my care until I for whatever reason move away from Dallas.

I would very much recommend anyone to at least give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

If i could urge ANYONE to NOT GO HERE. After having a simple wisdom teeth extraction back in August 2018, they permanently gave me severe nerve damage. Thanks to Texas laws i am unable to sue them for it either so they are not held responsible for any of it. I ended up having to pay out of pocket to see a specialist to help with all the infection they left inside my mouth & try and give me a little bit better quality of life with the damage on my face. My nerve damage goes from my bottom teeth and lip bottom gums all the way down to the bottom of my chin. It’s painful to kiss, touch, brush my teeth, apply lipstick, or even sleep with the sheets touching my face. And this will forever be permanent. I have spoken to many doctors and have done thorough research and if they would have done one extra step, this all could have been avoided. Instead they herded me like cattle to get in and out along with what seemed to be 10 other patients that morning for wisdom teeth extraction. What is the one extra step? An updated X-ray to see the location of my nerves. Which should be a standard is all dentistry oral surgery, but apparently it’s just a “some dentists preferences” i also had gum surgery before this with this clinic that turned my bottom teeth yellow from the medicine staining my teeth. Which can only be removed by more surgery apparently. I can also no longer get braces to straighten my teeth because of the nerve damage which is why i started the whole process to begin with. All in all i can list a whole lot more. But PLEASE avoid at all cost !

During my appointments the staff are always friendly, professional, efficient, and on time. I'm sending a special thanks to Carey my dental hygienist, Shontae, Arianne, Shatocka, and all the other staff. In addition, I would like to thank my Dentist and the Orthodontist as well. I'm so glad that I chose Ideal Dental to care for my dental needs. If anyone is looking for great dental service go to Ideal Dental!

I recently went into Ideal Dental in Uptown after I started having a dental problem. I have not been to a dentist in a while, mainly due to the poor dentists I have had in the past. The staff was very welcoming, and they explained everything they were doing in detail. The front desk staff was professional, quick, and made sure to explain the costs to me before I had any treatments done. I will continue to use them in the future. I have also recommended them to my family members as well.

Ive been going for about 3 years now, the staff is great they have good costumer service. Dr Mugianto is awesome he’s a real great Dr. does a nice job, haven’t had a complaint on his work. He did some fillings and a crown they are still Good as new. I always ask for him when I make a appontement for myself and kids. unfortunately there is no heat in the office. I had to sit in the office with my two kids in a cold room. I would of put 5 stars if it wasent so cold.

Will NOT come back. My wife and I went in for cleanings. They cleaned her teeth and gave her a filling. They examined my teeth, said i need a filling (like my wife) but did nothing. We called back realizing we had two totally different experiences, but they only said I needed to get a scaling along with a filling and other treatment but i can schedule a filling at any time. Why didn't they do a filling while I was there, but did one for my wife? Seems they wanted to siphon more money. They gave me a long list of things I could schedule later and items I could buy from them, but I found out from another dentist nothing should have prevented them from doing the same procedure my wife had. The people were friendly but it was an unfulfilling experience that left me with more questions and left my wife angry.

I went to the uptown location yesterday. The experience was amazing! No kidding. Carrie the hygienist was so friend, she didnt rush. My teeth are so clean and Thelma that bleached my teeth was just as nice and very informative. And the front office had me smiling. I can wait for my 6 month check up

As amazing as a dentist experience can be. I had two major anxietieies and both were covered expertly at this place: explanation of care and pain. They had their insurance negotiator figure everything out expertly, and when it came time for me to sign off, everything was explained to my understanding... The doctor even came in to answer what I thought were menial questions.And of course the doctor is going to hurt, but there was an abundance of local anesthetic that made the whole thing bearable. already scheduled my follow up appointment. This is a solid place.

I come back to this Ideal Dental location because of Carrie the hygienist. She's the best - she is thorough and will sincerely take good care of you. The location also has convenient hours. I definitely recommend this place!
