the staff is great from check in to check out. absolutely everyone does a fantastic job of working together to get the job done efficiently and comfortably. not one person there fails to contribute to the big picture- taking care of patients like family.
also, nancy is the best!

Have been going to Dr. Edwards for over 20+ years, but after this Summer, I have officially decided to find a new dentist for my entire family. It was nothing that Dr.Edwards had done himself but a few instances that had occurred by his employees. One of his employees who has been cleaning my teeth for three years was very irritated that I was unable to hold the x-ray films in my mouth. I tried multiple times to the point of tears and cuts in my mouth. We had eventually got them but she was so irritated and rude making me feel like I was doing something wrong. I had had her times before and had similar issues when taking the x-rays but that day she must of been in a really bad mood. On another instance, my family had been there in TX for my husbands military active orders (even though we now reside in WV) for a few months and I knew we needed a teeth cleaning. Since my I have been going there so long and that was my kids TX dentist I decided to book the appointment for their teeth cleaning. With covid, I was uncertain when we would be seen here in WV and wanted to get them in before school started. Days later we were scheduled to have my sons 3 teeth filled. However, our schedule changed and money was was abit tight so I called and asked for our medical records and to cancel our appointment. Due to the less than 24hr notice, (which I had no idea or even signed for) they gave me a hard time saying I would have to pay $50 for canceling this appointment. I told the girl at the desk, Jasmin I believe, who was really nice, that I refused since I had not been given notice of a cancellation fee. She responded by saying the financial advisor would call me back. I then received a phone call from this woman and she was asking me such personal questions. Such as... "oh what does your husband do?" "And, you say you live in WV now, whys that?" "And why do you want to cancel?" "Well why are yall here in TX?" .....I had her on speaker for my husband and mother to here her cause I couldnt believe the way she was acting. She went on to say that they normally charge us a cancelation fee and that because it is during covid and times are hard she wont charge me the fee but that she will get the assistants to send the records (this is after hassling with her for like 10 minutes). I felt completely violated and that it is my right under HIPPA to receive my childs medical records without explanation. It has been about 3 months later and I have yet to recieve my records. I decided the fight was not worth it and came back home to WV and visited our dentist here and started all over. The dentist here even said one of my sons filings was on a baby tooth and really wasnt bad enough to worry about. They were going to charge me about $200 there for the three filing. We have reallly good federal medical insurance and I have discovered that that place is not one we will ever be visiting again. Sadly, I have recruited so many family members there and even had my fatherinlaw in the commercial. It saddens me that they act this way and that financial advisor should be fired for her behavior and violation. This makes me believe she has done this to many others.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The assistant was pleasant and efficient in getting the paperwork reviewed and signed. The setup was quick, the procedure was painless, and my recovery appears to be moving along smoothly.

I was there Monday September 14th 2020had an appointment with Nancy my hygienists she's amazing btw. Although hadn't been there in a while since covid-19 started. So of course nervous as heck. To get treated rough and felt uncomfortable being seen by Dr. Long. I felt like he really didn't want give to give me injections to numb my mouth like he called it a simple deep cleaning. My choice my money. I won't see him again. I will request another Dr.

I have had some bad experiences with dental offices in the past so I must say how fortunate I feel to have found Advanced Dental from the girls in the front to the dentist and technicians everyone has been great and so kind. I am very pleased with everything they have done for me so far. I finally found a good dentist office. I like Dr. Malitz & Dr. Garcia very much.

The people at Advanced Dental are what keeps me coming back. They are ALL very helpful., encouraging and kind. They sincerely care abiut each patient. They are very professional. All of t h e doctors are first rate. And their work lasts. They have helped me frel better about myself. There are different payment oprions which really helps. I would highly recommend this office!!!

I have extreme anxiety going to the dentist and they made me feel so comfortable during my visit I didn’t feel judged this will definitely be my choice in dentistry everytime.

Best dentist office in all of San Antonio! Professional and friendly staff, and Dr. Edwards makes sure that I feel prioritized on every visit. Patient for life!

I have been going to this practice for years and EVERYONE is really professional and AWESOME! I'm always politely greeted and promptly taken care of by the staff. I always recommend them to anyone wanting/needing an excellent dental experience.

Been going here for years! I appreciate my hygienist Nancy & how personable and gentle she is! I feel like I'm catching up with a friend every 6 months. :) Thank you to her and the other friendly staff!
