Villa Dental

I chose Villa dental after reading reviews in the area. I wanted to find a dentist that both me and my husband could be comfortable with. I was able to reach out to staff both by email and phone which made it incredibly easy for me to ask questions and set up appointments. I'm also currently 32 weeks pregnant and the staff was amazing in making sure to get a copy of what was cleared by my doctor for safe treatment. The staff is super friendly, the office is super clean and comfortable. They explain everything and leave the door open for questions. They all around want to to be comfortable. During my cleaning they were even able to offer me a small pillow so I could turn my body to the side, which kept me and baby both comfortable! My husband hasn't had his appointment yet but I hope he loves the experience as much as I did!!!

Villa Dental is very clean and orderly looking with friendly and professional staff. They show you pictures of your teeth on your initial appointment and explain everything in great detail and understandable fashion. Seeing the pictures really helped me to trust their medical assessment of my oral hygiene and health. They provided comprehensive X-rays at my initial visit and did not charge me for any X-rays that my insurance did not cover. They also clearly explained charges and what my next visit would cost. I look forward to being their patient.

I have gone to this dentist for 2 years and have only had great experiences every time. The desk and support staff are always extremely nice, helpful and accommodating. The hygienist always do a great job cleaning my teeth and listen to any concerns I have and educate me on how I can better take care of my teeth. Dr. Staes is always attentive when I voice any concerns I have and makes sure to address and resolve any issues I have with my teeth; I feel comfortable when he’s working on my teeth and he doesn’t make me nervous as some dentists have in the past. I 100% recommend Villa Dental!

When I moved to San Antonio, I had a tough, demanding new job and neglected my teeth for more years than I wish to state. I received two recommendations for Dentist's. The first dental office was dirty, old and the Dentist had a terrible beside manner.

Going to the Dentist is something most people do not look forward to, but mannn, was I so happy and fortunate to find Villa Dental. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is a very modern, clean and comfortable on the inside. They even have flat screen TV's on ceiling and you can watch your favorite NetFlix series or movie throughout your appointment. I would strongly suggest to avoid comedies, cause laughing while the staff are doing their thing is not good for anyone, Ha!. However, they were good sports about it and laughed right along with me.

The reception staff are extremely communicative and professional. They also work with my busy schedule and do not show the slightest frustration when I have to cancel my appointment (often at the last minute), due to my demanding work schedule. They are Excellent!

The Hygienist's are very skilled and communicative, and walk you through each step of the process. They are also Excellent!

Last and most importantly, Dr. Emanuel Staes (Dr. E or Dr. S or "The Ragin Cajun" - he's from New Orleans), is possibly the best Dentist I have ever had. He makes going to the Dentist a lot less depressing. He is extremely communicative and walks you through the entire process, before and during every procedure. He has an excellent bedside manner and never beats you up about whatever you haven't been or should have been doing with your teeth. I have literally fallen asleep while he was putting in a filling. I've never felt more at ease in any dentist chair. He goes out of his way to let you know you're in control and can take a break whenever needed. He also asks you if you need a break between each step of the procedure.

It is absolutely my fault for letting my teeth go for so long. The first Dentist I saw admonished me for this, while Dr. Staes just basically stated "we'll get your fixed right up, no problem".

I am a 26 year Healthcare professional on the support/service side of the industry (all non-clinical operations), so I know a thing or two about good service. I am pleased to state that the Team at Villa Dental get my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!!

Villa Dental has excellent service! Everyone in the office is always friendly and professional. They always make you feel at home at Villa Dental. They absolutely take care of all your dental needs and do not let you leave questioning anything about your service. The office is always extremely clean! With the current pandemic they take proper precautions to keep you safe and healthy! They are the gem of dentistry! I have no plans to change my provider any time soon. You won't be disappointed! (You are taken care of because the staff is taken care of, keep up the outstanding leadership Dr. Staes!)

This is by far the best dentistry office I have ever been too. They treat me with such kindness. Everyone is so friendly. I love that they have TVs for you to watch Netflix to make your visit comfortable. Dr. Staes talks you through what he’s doing which is very helpful. I am happy to have found their office.

I was pleased with my experience at Villa Dental. From the moment I made my first call to meeting the front office staff and finally dentist, the flow of ease and calmness is amazing. They are happy to help and explain each step of your treatment complete with you expected out of pocket cost up front. I actually forgot I was at the dentist office as you get to watch any show you are interested in as you get your teeth cleaned and worked on. Everybody was friendly, not a very long wait, I got a thorough cleaning, a good exam and they always ask you if there’s any questions or if there’s any way they could help you. Overall a very good experience.
