I’m giving 2 stars because we love the staff who work there and loved the past dentist who practiced here.
We absolutely loved Merit when we first started going there a few years ago. Pricing was fair, staff was great and it was an amazing environment. But over the past few appointments, we’ve been so disappointed. They have canceled on us numerous times. They canceled at least three of my appointments because the dentist was “sick”or other reasons. They most recently canceled a 6 hour dental procedure for my husband, which we both had to take work off for and had already paid for. So not only did we both loose wages for the day but he wasn’t able to get any dental work done. They told us of the cancellation 30 minutes before we were suppose to be in and my husband was required to take medication prior. These past experiences have been so unprofessional that we’ve had to find a new dentist.

This dental office is so spectacular to go to, I feel like my business is appreciated. The pricing to me feels fair and honest, the professionalism and care that has gone into my dental work definitely has not gone unnoticed. I recommend my family to come here because of how impressed I have been. I love the people and consistent service and will always come here for my work!

I don’t write reviews very often; service has to be spectacular to motivate me to do so, and the service here was just that.
When I arrived, immediately the receptionists helped me and were extremely kind and cheerful. Starting my appointment the dental assistant was incredibly considerate and cheerful! The dental hygienist did an incredible job cleaning my teeth and offering advice. She was incredibly sweet and made a situation that’s usually quite unpleasant extremely relaxing. Then the doctor came in; he was very professional but at the same time also very concerned with making me feel comfortable and understanding of the plan/process for a few cavities that I had.
I truly can’t say enough good things about this business. I’ve worked in sales and customer service for quite a few years and I’ve seen few businesses that rival the quality of care I received here.

I started coming here because my original dentist office was closed during spring break and I wanted to get my teeth cleaned before I went off my parents' insurance. They fit me in right away and made me feel very welcome. Everyone there was super friendly and asked me lots of questions. They also reiterated many times that I should give them a call if my gingivitis didn't clear up within a couple weeks. I genuinely had a positive experience, and I think I've found my new permanent dentist!

These guys are absolutely AMAZING! If I could give more than five stars I would. The staff is so incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offered to give me a bottle of water (cold OR room temperature) while I was waiting which was a super simple yet welcoming gesture—to be clear I was only waiting for about 5-10 minutes after I filled out the paperwork. The dentist and his assistant were constantly making sure that I was feeling okay and that nothing was hurting too much constantly letting me know that I was doing great. They made it clear that if something did hurt too much to let them know so they could do something about it. I had gone in to their office yesterday for the first time to get my wisdom teeth removed, and I have no doubt in my mind that they will be my go to dentist from now on. They also gave me a cookie and a bath bomb that had a tag “You are the BOMB! We love our patients!” on it. Again, super simple yet welcoming gesture. Amazing office with an amazing staff. They go so far out of their way to make sure their patients are comfortable and that their needs are met. I’m so grateful for them and all that they did for me :)

I went in for the first time today and it was awesome. Everyone in this office was super friendly and attentive! Heidi (the hygienist) did a PERFECT job cleaning my teeth. I feel like Dr. Christensen genuinely cared about my concerns and wanted to help. Not every doctor is like that... Thank you Merit dental!!

The office is looks and feels cozy. The staff is super friendly. I was taken care of by Heidi and she was the friendliest Dental person I've ever had. She was also very quick, and professional. I was in and out quickly for a routine checkup, and had a great experience.

They were always very nice, professional, and I did like the work they did, but with all of the mistakes they have made from scheduling issues, to billing mistakes, to not having their office properly stocked, I just can't trust them anymore.
I showed up for all of my appointments on time and 3 times in a row I missed their call to reschedule while I was driving to their office. Only when I parked and got ready to go inside did I noticed that I had missed their calls. I had a temporary tooth in for a month as a result. I took time off work for each appointment. Explaining this happened 3 times in a row was an awkward conversation to have with my employer. I doubt they believed me.
I figured this was just bad luck, but then they recently messed up on billing. They forgot to record the payment I made in office as part of a 3 payment agreement. The other two payments were scheduled to come out automatically. They sent me a bill later on for an extra payment. Luckily I looked into it further and found the charges on my bank statement, otherwise I would have been on the hook for an extra $170 dollars!
One mistake is acceptable and I understand human error happens, but when mistakes happen this often, I am able to recognize that it will likely continue to happen. I will not be returning.

The front desk was super helpful and quick to get me in! It was my first time in this office so I had a lot to go through. But they were quick and efficient!
Once I was in the back, they had a gift bag for me for being a new patient! And they were all so kind and helpful. They gave awesome advice and even quoted some procedures for me. Would definitely recommend!
