Dr. Elmer is a very good Dentist, just bad management. I usually call Natalie and just called to speak to her and someone said "there is no one with this name here" I ask if it was copperfield family dental, and she said yes. So I ask to talk to Dr. Elmer and she said I'm the manager here my name is shantell and you cant talk to Dr.elmer. Anyways after 6y and calling to send my wife there for some Dental work, i guess they lost 2 clients at once....i guess they dont need it

I am still in pain a month after my filling was done, and I still have a bruise on my face. I would NOT recommend going to this dental practice. A simple filling has turned into a month of hell. The numbing shot was administered poorly and jabbed the nerve, which felt like a lightning bolt through the face. A blood vessel was ruptured in the process and this caused a big bruise on my face that still hasn't gone away. The pain after the filling was completed was excruciating. I couldn't chew on that side of my mouth at all.
I went to a trusted dentist to get my tooth looked at and to determine what went wrong. Turns out my filling was left "way too high" and needed a significant amount of grinding down to correct the issue. This could have been avoided by doing a thorough bite check before and after the numbing shot wore off. Because the filling was left too high my bite actually has been slightly altered to compensate for it and it will take a bit for it to go back to normal. My (trusted) dentist also took xrays and determined that this filling has a bubble in it, which may cause problems in the future.
Save yourself the pain and keep searching for a different dental practice :(
