This is by far the best dental office I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly, customer service phenomenal, and overall experience was exceptional A+. The Dentist actually care for the patient on a personal level.

Dr. Friend is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He surpasses other dentists in three essential ways:
1. Efficient. He does quality work quickly and thoroughly.
2. Honesty. He tells you exactly what he’ll do, why he’s doing it, as he’s doing it, and his receptionist always makes certain to check with my insurance and advise me of any additional costs before hand. I’ve never received a surprise bill as I have with other dentists.
3. Kind. He genuinely cares, not only about the patients, but his hygienist, too.

Highly recommended. Now if I could find a general practitioner like Dr. Friend…

I was referred to this dental office from another dental office location and I have only great things to say about Friend Family Dental. As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was positive. Pain management is a big thing and they know what it is, as I was continually asked how my pain was. Very informative and very thorough. If I were to stay in the area longer they would definitely be gaining a long term patient.

Hands down best experience I have ever had at the dentist. The facility was top of the line all the way around. The staff there is wonderful and really know how to make you feel like family. Dr. Friend has gained himself a customer for life! Thank you everyone!

I went here for the first time and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and respectful. I was able to walk in and immediately got called to the back. They did a very thorough job on my teeth and took their time. Dr. Friend was very kind taught me a lot about my teeth. Overall the experience was awesome and I would recommend Dr. Friend to anyone.

He is the best dentist I ever had in my book. He rebuilt my teeth . I love to smile again. He was gentle when working on my teeth and that made me feel relaxed. He is the rock star of dentist. Love Love Love his staff . Very understanding and caring. I read some of the reviews shaking my head. To anyone whom thinks he is all about insurance this and that. I would gladly pay him to get my teeth as Beautiful as he made them. You Rock Dr. Friend. I recommend him and his staff.

I will just say as an understatement that I am terrified of the dentist. Not because of a bad experience just don’t like the sounds of a dentist office. But since coming to see dr jack friend I will have to say he has made my experience not so bad. He is very thorough and yet takes the time to make sure you are doing well while in his chair. I would recommend him to family and friends. Thanks for being so kind and gentle with me

This was absolutely the best dentist our family ever had. Going to the dentist caused anxiety until I started treating with him. Even my youngest child who was 8 years old at the time was excited about going to his office. She’s 22 now. Dr. Friend never rushed and was truly focused on our dental needs. During one of my routine exams he found an ossifying fibroma. I had never noticed it until he pointed it out. He referred me to one of the best specialists in VA and was adamant this was the ONLY Oral Surgeon I would see, no other options. The treatment resulted in a bone graft and loss of several teeth but the specialist was the best and the fibroma didn’t grow back. Shortly thereafter, we moved out of the State. Dr. Friend set the standard for what we/I should expect from our dentist. Unfortunately, we haven’t found one that meets the standards he set, and all are judged by our experience with him. It’s been 13 or 14 years, those missing teeth were never replaced and I go from one random dentist to the next. This sounds like a “Lifetime” movie but every word is true. Anyway, I was talking to my 22 year old the other day and she brought him up while we were discussing some dental work she needed done. She wondered if Dr. Friend was still in the same place and if that little dog was still there. We both agreed the dog was probably gone but if we could, we’d take the time and expense of commuting to VA, just to have him as our dentist again. I got curious myself and decided to check GOOGLE. He’s still there, same office and that’s how this lengthy review started...I call it my walk down dentistry’s memory lane. Thank you Dr. Friend for making it nearly impossible for me to commit to one dentist. If I ever make it back to VA, I’ll be the lady with the shifting teeth, sleeping outside your office door, waiting for you to open.

Wow reading this post shocked me bc I was coming here over 15 years and my insurance changed and asked the same thing when making my appointment if I was in network and was told yes. Then the bill came and I couldn't understand why foir a regular check up it would be so high and then found out I wasn't in network. She was so rude and didn't care which was shocking bc I had been coming there for so many ytears and would never expect this. Now I'm dealing with court bc they lied. I would never recommend this place. Apparently his wife is the one at the desk and she is horrible to deal with. Even calling and trying to work this out with the agency has been a nightmare bc of her. She offered me a settlement of barely anything off a bill that has doubled with interest and when I counteroffered she told the agency my offer was no longer good B.C. I didn't take it. I hope thgey go out of business. I've reported them to bbb an d habe now hired a lawyer over something I tried to work out with them and be reasonable about to begin with eventhough it was their fault

Has been my dentist for eight years now and I had a root canal yesterday (because of insurance I had not gone often enough)...could not ask for a better, more thorough dentist (awesome pain management), and same crew for years. That also says a lot about the practice. Easy to find too!
