I have been a patient for 10+ years. The staff are always courteous, friendly, and care for me as a person, not just a patient. Very professional and detailed examination. Dr.Murchie gives excellent care with any and all questions answered. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I had braces for 3 years to bring a impacted tooth into place, which only brought it down halfway. I was told by multiple dentists the only option was an implant, which takes a lot of time and money for a 20 year old who is sick of not having a normal smile. Dr. Murchie took one look and decided that a veneer would work temporarily until I saved up the cash to get the implant a couple years down the road. I’ve had the veneer for a few months now and I am so happy with it. It’s unbelievable how good a nice smile can make you feel and it’s all thanks to the team at Goochland Dentistry. They are all so kind and really care about their patients and you can tell they all love what they do. Goochland Dentistry is definitely the place to go !

Great service and a great atmosphere. Everyone is always very respectful and professional. I trust Dr Murchie to take care of my family’s teeth. Some dentists in the past have tried to scam me, but I really appreciate here when the hygienist tells me they hope I clean my teeth so that I don’t need to see them for cavities. Definitely recommend.

I have extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and when I sat in that chair the sweetest lady calmed me and let me get comfortable at my own pace. During the cleaning and through a procedure I kept waiting for the pain as I had experienced previously at other places...and it never happened. I was so comfortable the whole time and couldn't believe that for the first time ever I felt zero pain! I didn't feel judged or self-conscious about my smile and that has always been an added anxiety when it came to going to the dentist. I can not express how thankful I am for that experience and how thankful I am for their patience and kindness. I definitely definitely definitely would recommend this practice !

Started seeing Dr. Murchie after becoming disillusioned by 4 local dentists that would adjust a crown or advice me to use some Sensodyne for that tooth pain. I had a co-worker recommend Dr. Murchie to us and warned us that he didn't run an assembly line dental shop and would take the time it needed to get the job done right. I went in for a first visit with x-rays and he promptly sent me to an endodontist to correct a poorly performed root canal by another local dentist. I also love seeing Cathy, his hygienist. She is super thorough with oral cancer screenings, cleanings, and her telling us what to look for with kids losing teeth like they do. The office gets along so well and I have been pleased with the level of service provided thus far. I appreciate their Facebook presence as well. Goochland Dentistry is involved in its community. Dr. Murchie and his staff were professional, informative and friendly in every way. Beginning at the time I made the appointment, the staff accommodated my schedule and my needs and made every effort to get to know me and to introduce themselves to me. They were very professional and were informative about my dental needs and involved me in my treatment plan. I would not hesitate to recommend Goochland Dentistry to my friends and family.

While giving Goochland Dentistry credit for seeing me quickly to help resolve the tooth issue I experienced in August, the dentist misdiagnosed the severity of the tooth crack and chose to do extra work that resulted in me not only getting the tooth pulled 2months later but I had to go under heavy antibiotics for 10 days due to an infection that formed which cost me another 400 dollars. I received a bill from Goochland dentistry stating that I owed more money which as you can imagine I was surprised and angry that the cost was almost 350 dollars. I would never recommend this Dentistry and I will be filing a complaint. Preying on people while they are in pain is no acceptable.

This was my first time at this practice. All staff members were professional, very accommodating, and I appreciate the time Dr Merchi took to explain the new procedures and technology. Very pleased with this experience and will share with others!

Dr. Murchie and his staff have been wonderful. They have changed my thinking about going to the dentist. During each visit, I have been welcomed by everybody in the office. I am very comfortable when the procedure starts and asked several times during if everything is OK. Every time I leave the office, I feel good about the work I've had done. I would recommend Dr. Murchie to all my friends and family.

Great services every time I visit. I had a different nurse today and she was so sweet nice and laughable.
Dr Murchie is the greatness dentist I ever me twin my life. He lets you know what you need and if I disagree with it he will tell me other options I can choose. Always took his time to write down everything to make sure I heard and understand him.
I truly don’t wont no fault teeth and he does everything he could for me to keep my own. He said they were very good and strong teeth and that I took good care of them. Today he told me that one of my front bottom tooth was loose and that when it comes out or need to be removed he will replace it and I was all smiles up bc I cannot see myself with a front missing tooth 😂
His staff are very great especially my hygienist Kathie. Everyone will speak to you as you walk along to the room or out.
