I called Goochland Dentistry on January 2nd around midday for a spot in my oral cavity that concerned me. I got an appointment at 2:00 pm the same day and met with Dr. Murchie who was really nice and attentive. He was great! and provided me with a referral to see a NET doctor. Also the staff was very cooperative and kind.

I visited Dr Murchie on Wednesday. I have had a horrible experience in the past and have a fear of dentists. His assistant, Halani (spelling) was amazing and so kind. Dr Murchie was wonderful. He was kind, gentle, took so much time, encouraging, explained and genuinely cared. I felt so at ease with him and his assistant, first time ever feeling at ease in a dentist chair.

Dr. Gillespie and her assistant, Himani, were great. Their use of technology, especially the 3D scan, helped me actually see some problem areas. Dr. Gillespie explained the images and came up with a plan to address an issue that was bothering me. I was worried about the pain due to some gum issues but Dr. Gillespie had me numb and the issue addressed painlessly.
The office was easy to find, clean, and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and the check in and out process was super fast.

The most comprehensive dental visit I have ever experienced. State of the art 3D imagery of both upper and lower teeth, excellent work by dental hygienist, and excellent explanation of all information by dentist for treatment and follow up procedures.

I was so nervous going into the appointment with the stereotype in mind of the office and staff just being a backwoods country dentist and boy was I wrong. They are honestly the most current and up to date dentist I’ve ever been too and was more thorough than any other dentist I have been to in the past.
I have always been on of those crazy people who love going to the dentist and with the wonderful staff here at Goochland Dentistry that love grew even more.
Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. They made every step of the process so easy and informative.
My dental hygienist, Lee was absolutely awesome and so thorough. She was super kind and walked me through every process she was going through.
Dr. Murchie was so nice and welcoming as well. He met with me personally and made it an effort to get to know me before taking a dive into his job.
I definitely felt more than just another patient at their office and will be telling anyone who is looking for a new dentist that they are the place to go.

I have been coming here for years. The place is clean and everything looks new. The staff is friendly, knowledge and helpful. The only thing I don't like is that they have added new dentists, which have all been great additions. The problem is you make your appointment with one dentist and then see another. I like to see the same person everytime I go. There was nothing wrong. That's just my preference.
