I saw Dr Hoover for the first time today. He and his assistant were great. I don’t normally like going to the dentist so i put it off til I have problems. Dr Hoover made me feel very comfortable. He explained what I needed and we set a plan. Thank you so much Dr Hoover and Barbara.

Overall wonderful experience. Very friendly front desk, hygienist was very detailed and explained everything. She made sure I was comfortable and checked in to be sure I was okay. Dr. Tart was also nice and conservative in his assessment on some teeth to watch which I appreciated. Highly recommend this practice.

Every time I go to Dr. Gore I find it to be comfortable, friendly and thorough. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist but he and his staff do a good job of putting my mind at ease

Always a positive experience. Ashley and Dr. Gore are tops. Always give good advice to take care of my long history of dental restorations. They are on top of potential problems and encourage improving ways to better dental health.

I had a great experience here. The best dental staff I’ve encountered. I had a Bridge, filling, and even finished a root canal for me. The staff is incredibly friendly and what meant most to me was that they make you feel comfortable no matter your dental situation/needs. I have sensitive teeth that needed a lot of work, and they were Very precise, gentle, and honest at the same time. Rare to find. This is my go-to Dental Office now.
As a new patient, The receptionists went the extra mile and made sure that my insurance would cover what they’re supposed to. Amy, Ashley, and Terra were just awesome assistants!! Dr Hoover is great, down to business and makes u feel confident the whole time. Thank u all for helping me gain some confidence back in my smile!

I can, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Scott Gore and the Midlothian Dental Center to anyone looking for the ultimate in dental care. I have been a patient of Dr. Gore’s for years and I have always been completely satisfied with his treatments when issues were discovered. What is even more remarkable in the medical field is that I always feel that Dr. Gore genuinely cares that I am doing well following a procedure. Also, in the hands of Dr. Gore, I always know that I’ll receive top level care.
Also, the staff of the office also are of the high caliber. From the hygienist that does the most thorough job with my cleanings to the billing department, who quickly stepped in to resolve a potential issue before it even became a problem. You can rest assured that everyone at Midlothian Dental Center is focused on the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The hygienists and technicians are top notch. Dr. Tart- not so much. The last time I went to see him, he told me I needed 4 extractions. He did not go over the x-rays with me. In fact, he mostly talked to the hygienist about my mouth and mostly ignored me. He said I’d need two temporary partials ($2,000) for about a year while the implants healed. He didn’t bother to mention that I needed a retreatment on a fairly newly crowned tooth. I left the office devastated and furious. I interviewed 2 other dentists in other practices. The one I selected said that 2 of the 4 teeth could be saved. In fact, I’m nearly through that work now and she has saved the teeth. She also she wouldn’t use partials as they impaired healing of implants. I will never return to Midlothian Dental Center.
