Where have you been all my life? Dr. Downing, Christine and Bin are amazing. Christine reached out to me within 30 mins of my email inquiring about an appointment and had me in the chair not even 2 hours later. Awesome, right?! Bin, the hygienist was so sweet, gentle and put me at ease about feeling embarrassed for not seeing a dentist in about 3 yrs. Then came Dr. Downing....he is personable, professional, funny and honest. Dr. Downing even reassured me I didn't need work done that Gentle Dental said I needed to do immediately 3 yrs. ago, ( a cost of $800.00 after insurance) Again, Awesome!
I have found my families new dentist! If you are on the fence, get your butt in the chair. I was glad I did!

I had such a great experience with Burien Family Dentistry, from the first call with Christine to the most recent procedure with Dr. Downing. I was very frustrated looking for the right office, as my previous providers were very unkind and seemed like they viewed patients as numbers. Christine got me an appointment as soon as possible--she's always so warm and kind and makes room to really hear my needs. "We will take care of you," was what got me in as a new patient-- hearing that from Christine and then from Dr. Downing. I love how they are personable and consistent with quality of care--- and bonus: they play good jams, not no boring elevator music :)

I don’t like going to the dentist and the first time I came in to this practice 2 weeks ago, the assistant Bay and the Dr were very welcoming and so nice and gentle. I was also in today to get something done and Bridgette was very nice, very gentle and was always checking in with me to see if I was doing ok. Christine up front is always welcoming when I came through the door. Highly recommend this dental office!

Dr. Downing (the new dentist there) treated me on an emergency basis. I broke an upper molar, and it caused me pain. From the moment I stepped into his office, I was treated with professionalism, kindness, and compassion. Dr. Downing, who is very personable, instantly made me feel at ease. He explained exactly what was going on, I needed a deep filling and a crown. I was treated and have had no issues with the tooth since. At one point, it looked like I would need a root canal. I would gladly return to Burien Family Dentistry to get the procedure done. My experience here was excellent, I would highly recommend Burien Family Dentistry, and I’m thrilled to have found my new dentist. Thanks to Dr. Downing and his excellent staff.

Christine has a rude attitude because I’m a Spanish speaker. I don’t know English much.
The Dr. Downing charged my insurance for procedures I never had done. Herring about how the Dr. treats his female employees disgusted me. I heard it first hand. Not LGBTQ FRIENDLY.
The old front desk person KARINA was way better customer service. And she spoke Spanish
