A great dentist and great dentistry staff! They keep accurate and detailed history of my dental records, and show sincere concern for me and my dental needs. Always enjoy chatting with Dr. Torrey about hunting and other outdoor adventures. The beautiful wildlife water color paintings by Andy Sewell that are in the exam rooms are pleasant to view.

Cleaning and checkup was a good experience, friendly, efficient, thorough and fast service. However costs have gone up quite a bit which gets expensive when you don't have insurance.

Dr. Torrey's dental office is pleasant and staffed by friendly, efficient people. I have a great hygienist who is always fun to work with. Dr. Torrey is the first dentist to ever take my jaw pain seriously, and has helped me a lot. He's very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and really listens to the patients.

I selected Dr. Torrey because of all the good reviews on Google Places and I was not disappointed. I had to have a deep clean plus all 4 wisdom teeth removed (along with other future procedures). The only discomfort I felt through any of the procedures I had there was very minor soreness in my jaw from holding my mouth open. That's it, including the extractions. And they're fast. Dr. Torrey is awesome and very personable, and his staff are really mindful of discomfort, costs, customer satisfaction, proper dental hygiene, etc. Never thought I would look forward to going to the dentist but if he can make pulling teeth and other dental procedures feel that comfortable, I'd go everyday. Thanks Dr. Torrey!

I'm writing this review 4 years after being a patient and seeing multiple other dentists in the interim.
Before I was doctor, I was on restrictive grad student insurance and chose to see Marcus primarily due to favorable reviews. Unfortunately, I had lasting negative experiences when I was a patient.
Ranked worst to ... less worse:
Marcus first told me that I would need a crown on my Molar as my tooth would collapse in a matter of months. This was an expensive procedure. 4 years later not a single problem with this tooth and all other dentists I saw couldn't believe he would recommend it at this time.
He also botched a cavity fill and left a gap in between my teeth that has been problematic over the year. This area is prone to get chunks of food stuck in it and is very difficult to clean now.
He improperly filed *two* teeth down after filling cavities which caused severe pain until I could get an appointment with him again. No apologies either.
I was naive at the time, but I would suggest seeking second opinion if you are having serious dental work. The cleaning and basic check-ups are fine. The main issue stemming from my experiences is that Marcus was so confident in his incorrect opinions and did not take a more probabilistic or scientific approach.

My initial appointment with Dr. Torrey and his dental team was fantastic. Most dentists that I have been to is the past spend very little time with their patients - this was not the case with Dr. Torrey. He conducted a thourough examination, provided me with useful information, and answered all of my questions. Additionally, the rest of his staff were very knowledgeable and professional.

Best ever. We moved from Pullman to Tri-Cities a few years ago and still make the trip back for dental care. Dr. Torrey and staff - Helen, Ann and all, are simply wonderful. They make it a pleasure to visit their office and take exceptional care of our dental needs.
