Ask for Lindsay for difficulty with cleaning teeth and nerve pain. She patiently listened and was extremely attentive and careful with the shots and filling. I am very happy with the outcome and highly recommend Sleep Dentistry.

The inside of the buiding is clean and the staff is friendly. They were very kind with my son who has development issues and dental issues. It was a good experience and we appreciated all they did and that they worked with our insurance.

I highly recommend this dentist office if you are looking for a one in the area. The staff was all very friendly and professional and the atmosphere was great. The dentist was also better than most I have been to in the past. He explained everything to me and clearly laid out my options for treatment.

Two stars because when I first started going here in 2017 Dr. Vargas and Dr. Wilson took good care of me. Talked to me about the procedures they would be doing and overall respected my patient rights and decisions.

After having my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Vargas I lost my dental insurance and hadn't been to the dentist again for a couple years. I got a new job at Premera and scheduled an appointment as soon as I could. When I scheduled my appointment, I was very specific and asked to schedule the regular preventive waive deductible insurance covers at 100% dental cleaning. I knew there would be some x-rays since I hadn't been in in a while, but it should have all been covered at 100% of the allowed amount except the fluoride (which I knew since I know what my coverage is).
My visit seemed like business as usual, seemed like a regular cleaning, talked about brushing & flossing. The hygienist noticed there were a couple spots I could do better on brushing and I agreed I was kind of aware of this. During the whole visit NOTHING was said about periodontal maintenance, doing periodontal cleanings, or anything of the subject. I discussed knowing I needed two crowns with the dentist, who was new (ish) to the office and that I wanted an anatomical crown because two of mine (one I had received at this office) were worthless as they were so smooth they can barely chew bread. But again, nothing was discussed of periodontal maintenance or cleanings. I finished my cleaning, paid for my fluoride (not covered for patients over 19 by my insurance, again, I knew this) and I'm thinking I'm all settled and squared away. Throughout this whole process I was never presented with a treatment plan for this visit or what services I was having done. So, I'm going through this thinking I'm getting a regular preventive cleaning. Turns out, I wasn't.
A couple weeks later I receive a surprise bill from the office stating they're billing for my deductible and coinsurance amount for a periodontal maintenance cleaning. So I call the office to question the billing. I stated on the phone that's not what was performed and if it was what was performed it is not what I scheduled. The lady I spoke with told me she would look into this and get back to me. After a week of waiting, I call again, she isn't in, so I ask if she left any notes, I'm told no. I huff and say OK. I called back later that afternoon to find out if she's in and again she's not, so I ask about my billing issue and I'm told oh she left notes and basically, they're standing by what they billed.
I call back again and finally am able to speak to the person who did the investigation into what was done in the first place. I explain that it isn't ok that they performed a service without my consent, this violates my patient rights by not informing me and allowing me to have an option to decline treatment for anything. She tells me that it would be malpractice to not treat a disease I have. She used the analogy that if I went to my regular doctor and was diagnosed with cancer on my face but just asked for my face to be washed it would be malpractice for that doctor to not treat the cancer.
I had cancer. It was ovarian cancer.
I was given the option to decline any portion of the treatment.
I was informed the entire time about every speck of procedure that would be performed on me.
I completed my treatments as of 4/10/2019.
But my dentist office could not offer me the same courtesy of informed consent for procedures. I was told they assumed I knew I was getting periodontal maintenance. That’s not informed consent. My patient rights were violated, and I was basically given a shrug and an "I don't care" by the office, they're standing by what they billed. I'm very angry about all of this. I'm angry my patient rights were tossed aside, I'm angry about the poor choice of analogy for "malpractice", and I'll never be coming back to this office because of the poor way I was treated. This is not how you treat patients and you certainly don’t throw patient rights to the wind.

As being a college student out of state, looking for a new dentist is vital. This place left a patient scared of going back to the dentist. The whole environment from when you walk in is negative to when you walk out. The dentists themselves sigh, and complain the whole time you are getting work done in your mouth. Overall, I would not recommend if you are trying to feel comfortable and confident with what the dentist is operating in your mouth.

The dentist and the staff were so nice. I usually get nervous going to the dentist but they were so good. Has 2 teeth pulled and it didn’t hurt at all. Great place to go.
