The staff is friendly and always have a smile on their face! Dr. O'Brien and Dr. Donaghey are meticulous about details. They generally stay on time for patient visits, keep a pristine office, are up to date on the latest technology, and make patient comfort a top priority! I honestly feel the dentists at O'Brien Dental are THE BEST in their field!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Dr. Donaghey and the staff at O’Brien Dental are the best I’ve ever experienced! From someone who is TERRIFIED of the dentist, I honestly feel at ease from the moment I step in their door. The receptionist and front desk staff are as sweet as can be, Dr. Donaghey and his dental hygienists are so comforting and want to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. They’re so reassuring and keep you informed throughout your procedure. The office is very easy to communicate with and after you check in, the wait time is so reasonable! I can’t say enough about the staff here! I no longer dread going to the dentist because of Dr. Donaghey and his amazing staff!

I have been happy with the care I have received and my last visit was no exception. In fact they would get 5 stars for the dental work provided. However, I was quite disappointed to find out not everyone working there has been vaccinated for covid (why not?), and they didn't seem to be following any covid protocol. No questions about symptoms, no requesting you wear a mask or social distance. This is a dental office not a construction site! Apply just a little of the science you were required to learn to be in the dental field. Masks and vaccinations are the way out of the pandemic and we are living in the state with the lowest vaccination rate as cases and hospitalizations increase dramatically.

The practice has extremely good client relationship tools. They send notes to you after visits and when you need a visit, and the staff are very nice. Until they aren't. Dr. O'Brien fitted me with a new crown which is so badly placed that the tissue in the gum below never heals (it's too tight). He didn't spend nearly anywhere the amount of time a normal dentist does having me bite down on fitting medium and adjusting. Then, because I have migraines many times per week, I had trouble securing an appointment for a checkup. I was told to come in " anytime I was feeling better", but I made an appointment and was ready to go. I called to confirm and was rudely told that Dr. O'Brien had instructed that I was too sick to be a patient. What? As my new dentist put it-we deserve the most compassion from our health care providers when we need it the most.

The staff at O'Brien Dental have been nothing but professional, personable, and kind. Dr. Donaghey and his assistant did any excellent job during each procedure and always took time to educate me on the process every step of the way. Dr. Donaghey also cared enough to follow up with me after certain procedures (tooth extraction, filling replacement) to make sure I was doing well and healing properly - something I can't honestly say past dentist have done. I doubt there is a better dental staff for adults in the Auburn area and I highly recommend giving them a call if you're in the market for a new dentist.
