Very good experience with Southern Dentistry. They’re careful to keep everyone safe from Covid. Hygienist was excellent, no pain, patiently gave me a good cleaning. Dentist was easy to talk to, concerned and knowledgeable.

Edit 2021: The staff is wonderful...no seriously, they are...and my only regret this visit was not having Dr Mike sing to us while drilling my teeth :P Great folks and they do great work here!
Edit 10-21-21. Thought I would update to say... Been going here now for several years and these folks are top notch indeed! My hygienist is wonderful (yep still bad with names) and if you are lucky enough and you clean your teeth like you should.. You might, just might get a concert from Alabama's one and only singing doc! Seriously... Great staff & great dentist! Thanks gang😊

Great folks! Jennifer and Fabiana are so patient and gentle and accommodating when they do a cleaning. All Drs Niebrig, Robinson and Gelinas have been a pleasure to work with. The only drawback we have had is getting seen right away for emergency situations. Seems no Dr was available on Friday so my husband had to wait till Monday. Would appreciate them building in some minutes to help in those situations.

As it turns out, these new faces are just as professional and competent as the familiar faces were. I am very satisfied with them.

1st appointment it was recommended that I get a mouth piece to prevent grinding my teeth. It wasn't really made clear how important this would be and due to the expensive price I did not get it. Next appointment was 6mos later where I learned that the structure of my teeth has been damaged due to clenching and grinding and now need to rebuild said structure. The EARLIEST appointment is 6 mos away. 6mos ago structure integrity wasn't an issue. What kind of condition will my teeth be in 6 mos from now?! I don't feel as though I can wait that long to improve this situation. I asked if I could go ahead with the mouth guard and was told that now it's too late. Why wasn't that stressed in my last appointment? I feel as though I have to find another facility that can take me at earlier intervals to get the proper care I need.
