If you are looking for a happy staff from every single person in an office, you need to go see Dr. Howell and her staff. I’ll drive 30 minutes from Harvest to downtown HSV for dental services. Hands down the absolute best! You get a tour, treats and everything is explained in detail (If you like that) or bottom line deal. Riley, Jennifer (I think) to Mrs, Beddingfield to the lady that checked me out get kudos from me!!! Thank you and I love my teeth!! The best way I can explain it is, I walked into home! I hated to leave abs I usually have a huge fear of the dentist! I still give 5stars!!! Add to the list Madison!!

Update: I had a lovely discussion with the clinic about our experience and the gal I spoke with was very kind and understanding. She did ask me to make my review higher, and I wanted to because I want to acknowledge that they did reach out to try and understand but seeing how many five star reviews there are drove home that they offer payment for the 5.0 rating. like I said below, the gals in the clinic were incredibly kind to me and I wish these things had not happened to us.
This is our experience with this clinic. I wish it had a happier outcome.
They give gift cards in exchange for five stars so you cannot know if they are being truthful with their experience but that's not why we are leaving.
1. My husband told them he was on medication that put him at risk for thrush. They did a two part cleaning for a huge bill and he got thrush on the third day after his second cleaning. He was in agony for the first week and couldn't eat anything but soup the second week.
2. I had a tooth that needed shaping due to a chip. The dentist finished and did well. I said she did a great job and she replied "heck yeah I did and if you come back I can take that gum and lower it to make it look symmetrical and you'll look good as new.
Now this comment seems harmless but I already am having a hard time going through infertility treatments and didn't know something was wrong with my gums. This comment set into my soul like a rock in water and I've had a hard time being ok with not having money to fix my gums yet. She also didn't know that my past was full of verbal abuse and emotional abuse my whole life from multiple family members and church members and her comment brought a lot of that up. It would have been easier to handle if it had been in a professional assessment of a receding gum.
3. My husband was treated with irritation. He asked for HIPPA forms to sign and they treated him like he asked them something offensive. He was dismissed and no one made any effort to make him feel welcome in any way. He said he felt like he should apologize for coming in the first place. He also said he felt they talked down to him and treated him like a child for not "knowing how to floss properly". He does know how to floss. Sigh.
Everything has been shady and uncomfortable and damaging. The medication for thrush was expensive and he was in unnecessary pain. He got emotional about it again after I told him I was updating the review here. Our doctor was also very concerned and miffed on our behalf. We will not be returning. I wanted to leave this here as an honest and unpaid review of our time so you can make the decision for yourself and your family.

My husband and I have been very happy with the service provided by Dr. Howell and her staff. From the front desk patient coordinators to the hygienists and assistants we have been extremely satisfied with the level of service they provide. We recently took our 2 yr old daughter for her very first dentist appointment and they were phenomenal with her. They made it a fun and pleasant experience for her. We are so thankful we found such a wonderful practice.
