I used the Groupon for Zoom Whitening and ended up making a teeth cleaning appointment. Dr. Pruitt told me I needed a root canal and when I expressed that I wanted a second opinion (I had absolutely no pain) he made me feel like it was a terrible decision and I needed it done right away, so I stayed and he did it that day. I feel like he took advantage of my age to scare me into paying a lot of money to fix my teeth. At this point I still thought he knew what he was doing and I went for a follow up where he told me I needed a second root canal. This happened two more times and I finally left to get a second opinion, where I was told I don’t even have a cavity and there was absolutely no need for a root canal. I never had pain before my first root canal, and now I have a constant ache where one of the crowns is. I paid thousands out of pocket for unnecessary work. Steer clear and definitely get a second opinion if you do decide to see him.

I purchased a Groupon for a teeth whitening service and called to make an appointment. They said they only scheduled that service M,Tu,Wed from 7:45a to 1:45p, and Thurs from 7:45a to 8:45a only. They said to plan to be there at least two hours. Realizing this would require a day off work I decided to schedule during a day I already had planned to be off (two weeks from that point early February). They said they were scheduling 2+ months out. I had planned to give them all of my Dental business if I liked them, but fortunately this happened before I had my records sent. Groupon allowed a refund in the form of Groupon bucks. Pay no attention to the fake reviews on Groupon for this business. It shows over 400 reviews but of course you can only see 3 which were all excellent and dated within two days of each other. I'm sure other people have had the same experience so I wanted to warn everyone before they buy the Groupon!!! And
.. as you can see they are offended if you complain... I took my business elsewhere several years ago when they forgot about me and left me in the chair for over 30 minutes. I was going to give them another chance but I'll stick with my current dentist. A little out of the way but much better service and more flexible scheduling!

I live in Northern Alabama and was recommended by a new local dentist I went to (because I had some major issues with the last dentist I had seen). Dr Pruitt had me come down to Birmingham that same day and fixed the ongoing problem. I would definitely recommend him!

Made an appointment with Dr.Pruitt because i was interested in making my lips look fuller and Dr.Pruitt suggested Botox injections which would give me a similar result for a pouty upper lip but for WAAYY less of a cost, rather than getting filler injections—quickest and most painless procedure ever. He called it a “lip flip” which gave my upper lip a lift. I am beyond happy with the results and cannot wait to go back!

I have had TMJ pain and frequent headaches for many years! I tried many over the counter treatments and a custom bite guard, but nothing seemed to help. Dr. Pruitt recommended Botox to help relieve the TMJ pain and headaches and I felt instant relief! So easy and painless. I no longer have daily tension headaches and jaw pain! I highly recommend Dr. Pruitt for both Botox and all dental needs.

Awesome dentist!! The staff and dentist at this office makes you feel so relaxed, comfortable, and welcoming. Broke a tooth and couldn’t find a dentist office that was available they got me in and repaired my tooth with no problems. They are definitely open for emergencies!! Great place!!!
