Sahuarita Modern Dentistry

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service I DID NOT receive at Sahuarita Modern Dentistry this morning. This office is an associate office with my primary dentist office, Tucson Spectrum Dentistry, which scheduled me for an appointment this morning at Modern Dentistry to see the oral surgeon that both offices share, as a follow on to an appointment I had at Tucson Spectrum in December. I had to cancel the appointment I originally had with the oral surgeon on Dec 20th due to being ill and waiting on COVID test results. Tucson Spectrum Dentistry was able to set me up to see the oral surgeon at Modern Dentistry this morning, which was the earliest appointment I could get.

I received a confirmation email for the appointment on Dec 20th. I had to cancel a class I was scheduled for this morning to make this appointment today.

Much to my dismay when I arrived at Modern Dentistry this morning, I was informed that they did not show me as having an appointment and the desk person told me that if they don't receive a telephone confirmation that they automatically cancel the appointment!

I work full time and cannot have my phone with me in my office during the day. I have an issue that needs to be resolved, and I had a confirmed appointment. When I have a confirmed appointment, I keep it.

I am infuriated by their policy of cancelling an already previously confirmed appointment if they can't re-confirm it. They cost me time and money by cancelling the appointment that I intended to and DID keep! HIGHLY unsatisfactory and unacceptable practice!

I will also say that in my experience with Modern Dentistry, their office procedures are no where near as efficient and thorough as those of Tucson Spectrum Dentistry. I will not willingly go to this office again and would not recommend them.

Like dentist! But make sure you do not let them apply fluoride or anything else, they will do it, not ask first and charge you when you are up front. I told the front staff this happened and she just said, she applied it, I will let her know but still costs the same. Seems a a little fishy.

I can't say enough great things about this office. The front-end staff was amazingly friendly both Yolanda and Joanna were attentive to my needs and made sure I could get an appointment within a more than a reasonable time frame. From there, Dr. Dindal and his team made me feel extremely comfortable and were more than happy to go over any questions or concerns before scheduling a follow-up for an extraction. Dr. Miller was just as wonderful. My first time being under for extraction, and I don't have one complaint. His staff was so kind after I woke up and were very thorough on my aftercare. I had some questions after hours, and Dr. Miller was prompt to answer and made me feel comfortable doing so. I'm very nervous about dental things, and when I was having some difficulty, they quickly told me to come in and not worry. I was in and out and wasn't made to feel embarrassed for going in for something so minor. I would 10/10 recommend this office to anyone needing any dental care.

I went to this dentist office for my annual cleaning. Once my teeth were cleaned and told I needed extra work for gentavitis, I was left in the chair for an hour with not one person coming in to check on me, and tell me what the next step was. After a hour passed I got up and left, and didn't receive any information from them concerning my teeth until 6 months later, where I received a phone call from them trying to set up an appointment for my 6 month cleaning. They didn't mentioned anything about my gentavitis. I will never used this dentist office again.

My entire family, children included, have been patients at Sahuarita Modern Dentistry for years. We love the care we receive starting from the front desk staff to the dentist. We have had our regular check-ups and necessary work done on a timely manner and they accept both our dental insurances, making our out of pocket cost minimal. I highly recommend them for the entire family, my children were never in fear or hesitated when visiting their office, always a great experience.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful ❤️ they treat everyone with the most respect and kindness I would recommend Sahuarita Modern Dentistry to any and every one thank you Joanna, Nicole, and all I just can't remember their names

I recently had a cleaning - then had a crown on one of my back molars. I was very impressed with Sahuarita Modern Dentistry for a multitude of reasons. Their office staff is friendly. The dentists are outstanding. Dr. Nicholas Mancuso, DMD did my crown procedure. He was highly professional and took the time to explain everything. Dr. Mancuso is up on the very latest dental technology. My crown was made in their office. This meant I was in and out within only 3 hours. That’s quick for a crown. But I never felt like I was rushed. Dr. Mancuso is just darn good at it! He is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Elizabeth, his Assistant, was friendly, attentive, and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Nicholas Mancuso and Sahuarita Modern Dentistry!

I’m a little torn on what to score this office. I’ve had positive experiences with those that work in the office. However, it’s happened twice to my husband and recently to me, where our cleaning visit turns into a waiting period to have the dentist examine our teeth and we’re asked to come back, wait, or wait till the next 6 month cleaning. It truly is an inconvenience to have to make another appointment for something that should be done with our initial appointment. In all our times having our teeth cleaned at different offices, this has never been an issue until now. We’ve contacted another office and will be moving.

I'm new to the area and so pleased to have found Sahuarita Modern Dentistry! The entire staff is very professional, yet friendly. Every step was explained, so I knew just what was going to happen. Joanna, at the front desk, was especially helpful when I needed a referral to an oral surgeon. She submitted the referral online while I was on the phone with her. So very nice to find well trained and friendly professionals.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff beginning with the ladies at the front desk, and the dental staff. The office hours and days are very flexible to my wife and I since we are from out of town. Last, our emergencies have always been taken care of, even during the early months of Covid last year.
