Sabino Hills Family Dentistry

I was impressed by how uncomfortable to hygenist made me feel. Not a kind person. Uptight, unfriendly. Treated me poorly. I didn't get my teeth cleaned and will be finding a new dentist. I just don't have time, as many of us don't, to deal with an unkind, unwelcoming healthcare provider.

I totally love Sabino Hills Dentistry. My experience with them has been amazing. They make you feel like you are the only patient in the office, respect your privacy, and make you feel as comfortable as possible. The staff is so friendly and always have a smiling face. I feel like a movie star with all the attention. Dr. Allen genuinely makes you feel that he cares. No dentist not even a Pediatric one has been able to exam my 4 year old son's teeth let alone clean them since he was 2 years old without me holding him down kicking and screaming. Dr. Allen was so awesome and got my son to take X-rays and clean his teeth without a fuss. I recommend them to anyone without a shadow of a doubt. I can't say enough good things. I actually look forward going to the Dentist where before I had some anxiety with other place. Thank you Sabino Hills Dentistry for all your hard work and dedication!!

In all my 50 plus years of going to the dentist, I find Dr Allen and his staff exceptional. Granted, technology has changed in those 50 plus years, but Dr. Allen and his staff exhibit professionalism along with a wonderful sensitivity towards patient needs. I especially appreciate their sensitivity and awareness of my extreme anxiety issues with dentistry procedures carried over from childhood. They all make me feel like I am the most important person on their agenda. And, Dr Allen personally called me in the evening to make sure I was doing okay after having a dentistry procedure. I even talked my husband into going to see Dr. Allen after not seeing a dentist for 5 years, and now Sabino Hills Family Dentistry has another fan. I would encourage anyone and everyone to go to Sabino Hills Family Dentistry.

Dr. Allen was great he really take his time to get to know you and give you the best. You can tell he loves what he dose, and the staff go's above and beyond to give you the very best service. I recently moved to Tucson and went to Dr. Allen because of the tremendous reviews. I’m delighted to add another outstanding review. On first check-up they found 3 problem areas needing treatment. One might think the office is just out for money, but no, my previous dentist had also identified the exact same issues.

The first treatment was a painless tooth extraction. I had to go back next day because of excessive bleeding through a rare complication that he correctly diagnosed over the phone (liver clots, which was no fault of Dr. Allen). Dr. Allen spent a lot of time curing it and had me stay in the office for additional two hours to see if bleeding would stop. He charged me nothing for the extra good work. Because there was slight bleeding and I was leaving the country soon Dr. Allen sent me to an Oral Surgeon friend, who upon examination said all looked fine, and he too charged me nothing. Bleeding stopped an hour later. Never had any pain.

Dr. Allen’s dental work was outstanding and his patient care is off the charts. Having lived in 5 cities and 1 foreign country with outstanding dentists at each stop, I’m pleased to say Dr. Allen is the Best!

I went to this office for the first time today because I saw all of the incredible reviews on Google. When I checked it was 104 reviews with a 5 star overall! I think Dr. Allen has accomplished the impossible! A dentist that people love? My expectations were high going in based on what I had seen. I was not disappointed, the staff are incredibly friendly and willing to help. They talk with you about more than just your treatment and they genuinley seem to care about you and how you are doing. The office is very clean and you can see they have the latest in dental technology. I was very impressed. Even Dr. Allen, as busy as he must be, took the time to talk to me about what was going on in my life before he told me I need to start flossing! Thank you to the whole team for making something I dread doing so much easier.

Michael Allen is a nice fellow but a surprisingly incompetent dentist. Filling cavities successfully ought to be routine for a dental professional—I had eight “filled” by this dentist and the result was chronic teeth pain the likes of which I’ve never before experienced. I went back for an “adjustment” and the result was even worse pain. I ought to sue for malpractice but hope instead this honest review will cost him business. This “professional” practice also blares tasteless, streaming contemporary pop music (sometimes with vulgar lyrics) into every room throughout the workday. Once, when I was in the chair for a cleaning , this dental “professional”—who has a large family with all of ITS demands—bragged about his youth of womanizing (to the obvious disgust of his female assistant—she no longer works there). Does Michael Allen sound like your kind of dentist?

Dr. Allen is an excellent dentist. I have a great fear of dentist after a terrible childhood experience. However, a visit with him makes you feel cared for like you are being cared for by a brother. And yes each visit is painless !

I met Dr. Allen while living in Tucson, I have since moved to Texas but I still schedule my regular visit to coincide with my quarterly visits to Tucson We kept our home here.

Simply said He's the best.

This is how much I love the service provided by Dr. Allen and his staff: A year ago I moved from the area and thought that I just might find a dentist who is closer. Well, I just can't. The treatment is gentle and I'm enjoying keeping my teeth healthy. The staff are always cheerful and accommodating. The office is bright and fun and inviting. Even the fresh water seems to taste better. There is nothing I don't like about Sabino Hill Family Dentistry. I highly recommend Sabino Hills Dentistry if you are shopping around for a dentist. Dr. Allen and his staff deserve more than five stars! What a pleasant place to go for not-so-pleasant business. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and fun. The waiting room is cheerful and comfortable, but you rarely spend much time there. I've never had to wait beyond my appointment time - what a nice change! There are tv's on the ceilings of the exam rooms so you can watch something while your teeth are being worked on. Contact Sabino Hills for your dental needs - you won't regret it!
