Dr. Michael Allen is my neighbor, a great guy and an EXCELLENT dentist. I appreciated his attentive care of my dentistry needs as well as his conservative approach to care. Sabino Hills Family Dentistry cares not only about fulfilling your dentistry needs but also making the experience as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.

The office is brand new, clean and brightly decorated....a far cry from the old days I was used to where I felt like my dentist setup his office in a file storage room. His reception area is tastefully appointed with lots of comfortable furniture, free WiFi, games and a Wii Console for the kids and even an iPad to doodle on while you wait. His front office staff are cheerful, polite and exactly the kind of people you want greeting you when you come in for a visit.

Quite simply, Dr. Allen and all of the staff at Sabino Hills Family Dentistry are wonderful. You can't ask for a better dentist to treat your family's needs.

I am so impressed by this dentist and his staff . He maintains a positive, non judgemental,cheerful ,and welcoming environment. After having a few unpleasant dental visits, Dr Allen is a breath of fresh air. We unfortunately had to have an extraction. Not one tear. We were in an and out in less than 30 minutes. My daughter absolutely adores him and we are blessed to have found him.

Dr. Michael Allen is outstanding! His assistants and secretary provide unrivaled customer service, the equipment used in the office is all high-tech and state-of-the-art, and the design/decor of the office is wonderful. 4 hours after surgery, Dr. Allen personally called me to check how I was feeling. The following day, I received a hand-written letter in the mail from Dr. Allen. The sincere care, customer service and attention to detail you will receive from Sabino Hills Family Dentistry is impossible to find anywhere else. Plus, his office accepts a wide variety of dental insurance plans and HSA's, even if you're not in his network!

So here's my story: I had my #1 molar suddenly break! Dr. Allen came very highly recommended by several friends to perform the appropriate oral surgery. The extraction was performed PERFECTLY! I read that it's common to have certain complications when molar extractions are performed on adults, such as a piece of the jaw bone coming out with the tooth or even part of your sinuses. I was expecting the procedure to be long and painful, with an even worse recovery time.

The surgery took less than 30 minutes with NO PAIN or complications! And I didn't have to be put under nor on laughing gas. Less than 24 hours later I had no residual pain, and never had to be put on pain medication. This is important to me because I take my health seriously and don't like putting unnecessary drugs into my body... especially something as serious as narcotics. I'm eating solid foods as normal, less than 24 hours after a molar extraction! Crazy, right?

Dr Allen is an excellent dentist. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He and his staff is taking very good dental care of my family. The office staff is very polite and accommodating. The office is modern and very clean.

Sabino Hills is by far the best family dentist office you will find. From the front desk to the back office you will experience the best care. Very personable and friendly. Dr Allen is knowledgeable and sensitive to the patients needs and always makes you comfortable. I LOVE going to the dentist because of them!

Dr. Allen and his staff are professional, warm, friendly, caring, and efficient. Experiencing a recent dental emergency, I was able to be seen in the office within the hour, I am most pleased with their services and highly recommend! The office and waiting area are beautiful with a relaxing atmosphere.

I took my father for a routine cleaning and Dr. Allen found 2 cavities. He was able to fix them on the spot and we were ready to leave 30 minutes later. They have a very professional and courteous staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable. I have recommended Sabino Hills Family Dentistry to my friends and co-workers.

I have had negative experiences working for a visiting a couple small businesses here in Tucson. There is a stigma there...lack of concern for employees and curtness with clients...and it's true. HOWEVER...Sabino Hills SHATTERS all of these stereotypes and is BY FAR the BEST small business and dental office in Tucson! I can say that with extreme confidence. I am deathly afraid of dentist visits, and I was comfortable and happy the entire time I was there on my most recent visit. Well done to all and please keep up the good work!

I do not like going to the dentist and have been to a few in Tucson. I can honestly say this location has always had nice hygienist and the doctor has a great bedside manner. They have newer equipment and did a great job with my 2 year old son when he got his "freekidexam". The major thing I also like is that this isn't a large office with multiple doctors. It feels more like a family than a conglomerate of doctors which is many if not most of the offices in Tucson.

I have always hated going to the dentist but Dr. Allen is the best I've ever been to. I feel like he listens to me and explains the situation and what his recommendation would be, but respects my decision about what I want to do. He's done a great job with the work I've had done so far. The TV on the ceiling is a nice distraction. One thing to be aware of is that he doesn't do amalgam (silver-colored) fillings and some insurance plans (i.e. mine) will only cover the cost of the amalgam fillings for the back teeth leaving you to cover the difference between the amalgam and the white-colored (more expensive) fillings. So I would just check with your insurance before you have the work done so you know how it will be billed. Overall, I'm happy with Dr. Allen and his staff and will continue to go there for my dental care.
