Our family loves Dr. Allen! He combines a great sense of humor, best chair side manner, and gentle, reassuring treatment of his patients. He also takes his time with you and does not tire of answering questions regarding treatment. A trip to his dentist chair is more like a visit with a friend. His staff is awesome as well and go out of their way to provide information and great patient service. The office is the most pleasant medical or dental office I've ever been in with its bright and cheerful décor. (Who decided that dental and medical offices had to be dull, dreary, and stress inducing environments? Dr. Allen threw out that rule book!) My kids love Dr. Allen and his office and I don't hear complaints about going to the dentist. We will be Dr. Allen's patients for a long time to come. Thanks! Lots to do in the lobby too

I have been a patient of Dr Allen's since he opened his office. He is very caring and has a warm personality. I have come to trust his treatment choices, mostly because he always outlines the cost of each potential solution and freely makes a recommendation based on what he views as best for me, even when it is an inexpensive option. He is knowledgeable and keeps up to date on developments in dentistry. His staff is truly competent and very friendly. His office is very conveniently located. In several emergency situations, Dr Allen was available to see me, sometimes within minutes or hours of my phone call. If I could give extra stars for a rating, I would.

Dr. Allen makes you feel comfortable, great if you have any dental anxiety.

I was referred to Sabino Hills Family Dentistry by a friend, and I am so grateful for the referral. I have never liked going to the dentist, but Dr. Allen and his staff made my visits very enjoyable. My three year old daughter had her first dentist appointment today and after we left she said, "That wasn't so bad!" Dr. Allen and his staff are very wonderful and extremely welcoming. I will never use another dentist.

I've been going to dentists for over 50 years and I can tell you that Dr Allen has the best practice I've ever seen. Despite my anxiety over going to the dentist, Dr Allen and his staff really make you feel welcome and less anxious. Dr Allen has a great "bedside manner" that will ease any fear or anxiety you have when you walk in the office. Dr Allen has really put together an amazing staff at Sabino Hills Family Dentistry. The entire staff from the front desk to the dental techs, hygientist, and Dr Allen are the best at what they do. Dr Allen's practice includes all the latest technology so that you will be confident knowing that you are receiving the best dental care available in Tucson.

The moment you walk into the office you know you’re in for something special! From the bright cheery colors, retro furniture, beverage bar, WI-Fi and amazing kids area. AND, the place is immaculate (I have germ issues so that’s important). We’ve (hubby too) been patients of Dr. Allen for over a year and have nothing but praise. I work with people and love to smile. Dr. Allen has made sure my teeth are sparkling and in great shape. You won’t develop tooth decay waiting an eternity to be seen for your apt. The staff and Dr. Allen get you in fast. You can bet your bicuspids on that!
I love getting my teeth cleaned. I can doze off or watch the ceiling TV. Either way my teeth look and feel amazing when done! As for the horrid shot in the gums? Not to fear, Dr. Allen is here! Seriously, you don’t feel it. I HATE needles. I’m not ashamed to admit I cry at the doctors office if forced to get a shot. Dr. Allen uses some magic gel that makes the dreaded needle pain free (sigh of relief). I just had an overlay on one of my teeth and I’d bet you a free teeth cleaning you couldn’t tell which one it was. Guess who called me to check on how my tooth felt after the procedure? The man himself….Dr. Allen! How many dentists “personally” call to check on their patients?
We have received continued courteous treatment from day one. It is that high caliber of service that has kept us coming back.

I had a wonderful experience at this office. Dr. Allen and his staff are super friendly and do such a great job at making things as comfortable as possible! Dr. Allen does a wonderful job at making sure you know all of your options ahead of time, which allowed me to make a confident and informed decision about my dental care. I would definitely recommend this office to friends and family.

We love this place and are so happy we found it! All of the staff there is incredibly friendly, the office is clean and beautiful and Dr. Allen is such an awesome dentist. The tv in the ceiling while you are in the chair is a pretty nice bonus too. :) I have referred a few different people and will continue to highly recommend this office to my friends and family.

On Spring Break with my family, I had a minor dental emergency. The cement holding a veneer on a front tooth failed, the veneer fell off, giving me an unwanted "Deliverence" look. I called a dental practice located close to our foothill resort explaining the situation and informing them that this has happened before, five years ago. I needed some new cement, could they see me today? 'Yes, we can see you late this morning, but we will need to take full X-rays and a dental exam prior to doing any procedures. It's a liability issue.' We went back and forth and finally I releived them of liability by saying goodbye. Sabino Hills Family Dentistry was not nearby, but their web reviews were stellar. I was welcomed warmly. Everyone I met from the receptionist to the hygienist to the Dentist, Dr. Allen seemed happy to be there. Dr. Allen cemented the veneer in place at a reasonable charge. If I lived in Tucson I would be patient.

Dr Allen is an exceptional dentist and person. I have worked most of my life in health care and it is such a pleasure to meet a person like Dr. Allen. He is very skilled and has a smooth clinical manor. He has easily dealt with my dental issues in a very professional manner.
