Sabino Hills Family Dentistry

This place is really nice and the staff is wonderful. However, since they're really good scheduling or making changes is hard. If you have to cancel an appointment prepare to wait an additional couple months to do so. If you're a new patient prepare to wait even longer. I have enjoyed going here, but have decided to go to another dentist for the simple fact that I'm not able to see them for an appointment in a timely matter.

You guys should really think about expanding or hiring additional staff.

I just relocated to Tucson and chose Sabino Hills Family Dentistry based on my insurance coverage, their website, and close location. I've had two visits with them so far and I'm very happy that I found them. Everyone there is friendly, fun and professional. Dr. Michael Allen has made sure every detail of the appointment is enjoyable, starting with his friendly receptionist, Grace. I especially enjoy the TV mounted on the ceiling above the exam chair. This is a great distraction while getting your teeth worked on! I also appreciate that treatment information is explained clearly and questions are handled with care, not brushed over. I definitely don't mind going to the dentist when I can expect this level of care!

Dr. Allen's dental office is the best I have been to in all my 63 years. All the staff perform in a very professional manner and his equipment is state of the art. The good Doctor Allen did a repair procedure on one of my molars that corrected a very uncomfortable situation that developed every time I ate. His excellent dental work resulted in me being able to chew without any material wedging between my teeth. What a relief! After each visit to his office he made a personal phone call later in the day to ensure I was not experiencing any complications or pain. I even received a hand-written letter in the mail to thank me for my patronage. Overall, I would say it was the best experience I've had at a dental office and would recommend Dr. Allen to patients of all ages! Thank you Dr. Allen!

My wife and I are new to the area and selected Dr. Allen's office based on his professional and personal profile, flexible office hours, and the many wonderful reviews. Michelle and the office staff are very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Allen and his assistant Jose, are both confident and considerate in their work, and Dr. Allen offers sensible dental health recommendations without underlying sales pressure. Equipment is state-of-the-art (digital x-rays, photo-log, etc.) and even provide a TV on the ceiling of the exam room for those of us that are addicted to HGTV. Dr. Allen and his team make it as pleasant and painless an experience as possible. Thank you.

I think great teeth are pivotal in our presentation. That said we can't trust just anyone with our smile? Dr Allen's passion for every clients dental needs, comes with attention to detail unsurpassed by any experience I've ever encountered. To say that Dr Allen's team is dedicated would be an understatement. The staff will make you feel like you're family the minute you walk through their door. It's very clear from the first visit that this is a team mentality every person in this office has one goal in mind. Treat customers with kindness, respect, and set the standard for customer satisfaction.

My first visit to see Dr. Allen and it was great. All the staff made me feel welcome and at ease. Dr. Allen is a very gentle and friendly dentist doing his best to not only solve your dental needs, but help you feel comfortable during the process. He is very knowledgeable in his field of expertise and I appreciated his concern about MY concerns. Great hours, easy to get an appointment, wonderful staff and a bright friendly office. I highly recommend Dr. Allen.

We are new to Tucson. We had yet to establish a dentist when my daughter chipped her front teeth. After the first dental clinic I called failed to come through to help her, Dr. Allen and his wonderful staff came to our rescue. I turned to the internet and found Sabino Hills Family Dentistry. Based on the reviews, I called immediately.They were very kind to fit her in the same day I called. Dr. Allen wanted to make sure she didn't have to go through another day of discomfort/insecurity and made time in his busy schedule to fix them that day. He made my daughter feel at ease (as she was nervous and scared) and did a great job reassuring her teeth could be fixed. She was so happy to see her teeth back to "normal" and I was happy to see her smile again.
The reason I'm giving four stars is because my insurance is not part of their network. They can still bill my insurance but I, unfortunately, have to pay more out of pocket. Bummer.
Overall, we are grateful to have found Sabino Hills Family Dentistry.

My husband and I think that Dr Allen and his marvelous staff are amazing. Dr Allen is kind, decent, competent, and quite funny. He's got a great bedside manner, and he's good at putting a nervous patient at ease. He hasn't hurt me yet, and that has to be a first at a dentist's office for me. Furthermore, his office is very comfortable and tidy, and it's equipped with all the latest in dental technology. I've already recommended Dr Allen's dental practice to several of my friends and family members.

Dr. Allen and all the staff at Sabino Hills Family Dentistry are great. Everyone was friendly and helpful, all the work I had was done was painless and quick. I was seen at my appointment time. Dr. Allen also followed up personaly to see how I was doing after each procedure. This is by far the best dental experiance I have had.

My entire family goes to Dr. Allen and we love him! All 5 of my children look forward to going and seeing him because he is "cool", personally I dread the dentist because teeth/mouths to me are just gross. Dr. Allen makes me feel comfortable and works quickly! It is such a relief to have a dentist that we can truth and who truly cares about our oral wellness!
