If you are someone who is normally scared of dentists, this is the place to go! The medical staff is very welcoming and patient and they are great at making you feel at ease. They are very thorough and transparent regarding the health of your teeth and the work they will be preforming. The reason I am giving this review a 2-star review is because of the administrative staff. I was sent a notice that I had a bill with the office due to a “broken appointment” from an appointment in early June (over 8 months ago). The staff did not inform me of this charge when I visited them after that appointment in late June and I had not heard anything of the charge until a delinquency notice arrived in the mail. I am actively working with the staff and management to resolve this matter and will update this review as updates become available.
EDIT/UPDATE: The staff was finally able to provide me with the circumstances surrounding the charge. I have changed the review to a 4-star due to this.

I have been terrified of the dentist forever. I am ashamed to admit how long I’ve been avoiding a teeth appointment. I have had horrible experiences in the past but Austin Family Dentistry has changed my mind completely. They were the kindest people I’ve ever met at a medical facility and they have made me a believer once again in dentists. Like seriously…choose this place!!! I recently went to Austin Family Dentistry for the first time. I did not have a referral/didn’t know anyone who was a client there, but after reading the website, it just seemed like the right fit. I am so glad that I did. I was able to fill out all the paperwork online so when I walked in there was no additional papers to sign or anything to fill out. I went in for a routine cleaning but had a lapse in services of almost two years. The dental hygienist was waiting for me and I didn’t have to wait even a second. My dental hygienist, Christi, was absolutely amazing. I never enjoy going to the dentist but she made my experience so pleasant and I was super comfortable. She also explained everything that she was about to do so I would know what we were doing and why. She also gave me great advice/tips and I felt like she truly cared about my experience. Dr. Scallion was awesome and made me feel very comfortable as well! I already made my next appointment and am happy to go back and see them in 6 months. Thanks for the great experience!

I absolutely love this dentist office. They are so cute and never make me feel bad about my teeth. Their staff is very sweet and skilled. I feel so much better about the health of my teeth after visiting them.
