I had been going to the same dentist for years, they always told me I had great teeth, no issues at all. I moved to Denver and needed to find a new dentist, so I went to Comfort in Cherry Creek, and I had never read any reviews about this place. After my last visit I decided to read some reviews. My mind is blown that every single person says the same exact thing that I experienced. I said no to the deep cleaning, but then I felt like the dentist was talking to me like I was on a used car lot trying to get me to have ANOTHER deep cleaning, even offered to let me finance it! After I refused he made me leave and make another appointment. Needless to say I cancelled it and will never ever go back there.

This was the worst dentist I have EVER been to. They told me I had a gum disease, to try and convince me to pay more money. They are unprofessional and money hungry fools. At the beginning of each shift they sit down and review a certain quota that they have to make. In order to make their goals they upsell everything. I can't believe I almost went through with them! Safe yourself!!!!!!

I had an accident on a Saturday morning and chipped a bunch of teeth. I was really worried about the damage. I called this office at 11:20 am and they got me right in accessed the damage, reassurered me, and repaired the damage. I was on my way home within 2 hours, all fixed up.

I have to give Cherry Creek Comfort Dental a review because I came in there balling my eyes out, hyperventilating in so much pain! It was a Saturday so they were closing early & at first the receptionist was kind of rude telling me “No, we can’t see you.” Actually not kind of, she was very rude. But the dentist there, I’m sure heard me crying in the lobby & I was thinking it’s inhumane to turn me away with how much pain I was in but he saw me & calmed me down, gave me antibiotics. Thank God for that doctor because that receptionist was something else. I don’t know how you can even be rude to someone who’s crying & in that much pain. Like where’s your heart at lady?!?!?! Hire a new receptionist!!!!

Dr. Robbins was very friendly and very thorough. He made sure I understood the process of what he was doing and followed through to make sure I was doing fine during the procedure.

I'd been before and seen Dr. Jolstad and Dr. Light approximately three years ago. In those instances, I'd had a good (not great), but good experience. Pricing for a cleaning was reasonable, ~$150, and given that I was uninsured, I didn't think that was too bad. I also had a minor gum tear that was stitched for $75.
Boy, things have changed and this office is nothing more than a scam. Today I went in for a cleaning-- it's been three years (too long), but I floss daily and use a sonicare twice a day. After the initial consultation, Dr. Jolstad told me that overall my teeth were in good shape, but that I needed a deep clean on two lower teeth. He mentioned that my copay was $35 so I said okay.
BIG MISTAKE - when I went to check out, I was charged $395. $35 for the consultation and $360 - for a deep clean, which is not covered by my insurance. WHAT!? The accountant told me I needed the deep cleaning because I had periodontal disease. Again, WHAT!? No dentist has ever mentioned that (and they did not mention this during my consultation or deep cleaning that was just completed). The accountant was the only person to ever use that word.
Understandably I pushed back and the accountant talked to the dentist (who wouldn't come up front...he was hiding in the back), and mentioned that the dentist was confused and quoted me at $35, but the best they could do is split the difference and credit me $180. She also mentioned that I am in the beginning stages of periodontal disease. When I asked what that meant, the hygienist that cleaned my teeth came up front, shrugged his shoulders and smiled sheepishly. I then asked if I'd need to care for my teeth differently or if I would be able to get a standard cleaning ("polish") next time around. She then said, no, now I need a special cleaning that will cost $56/visit with insurance because I have this phantom diagnosis by an accountant and not a dentist.
I think they just try to tell you that you need a deep clean as an upsell, and then backpedaled and told me I had periodontal disease when I pushed back. If they'd told me why and the cost before the cleaning, I might have considered it since it had been several years since I'd seen the dentist, but definitely not after!
This place has unprofessional pricing policies and was a complete waste of my time. I will also be contacting Cigna HMO to encourage them to remove this practice from their preferred provider list. I will be returning to my original dentist on the east coast. Heck, it will be the same cost to purchase a plane ticket and a dental cleaning from an honest practice.

Very friendly staff and great atmosphere! Also, they are very thorough in explaining what needs to be done, one of the best dentists I have been to in a long time!
