I'm not one to usually write reviews but after seeing so many negative reviews I felt compelled to relate my experience. Due to lack of money and a desperate fear of dental work from traumatic experiences in my teenage years, I had avoided seeing a dentist for 15 years. Needless to say, I was in dire need of dental care. I had one tooth that had broken off and another that was starting to crumble. During my consultation I learned I had 10 cavities, gingivitis, the remainder of the tooth that needed to be pulled, and the need for a root canal and crown to save the tooth that was falling apart. I was fortunate enough to qualify for Medicaid and Dr. Jolstad was determined to get as much care out of the money the program made available to me as he possibly could. His knowledge of the system allowed me to get all but 2 of the cavities filled, pull the broken tooth and get a deep cleaning to remedy the gum disease. I was also able to save a little money each month, and, due to their lowered pricing for Medicaid patients, able to pay for the remaining two cavities one at a time. After a few months, Medicaid rejected the claim for the deep cleaning and Dr. Jolstad was kind enough to write it off. I was completely floored that a dentist would absorb the cost of my care. As a result, I had a positive balance that, with several months of saving, has allowed me to get the much needed root canal and crown. Thanks to Dr. Jolstad, who was extremely kind and patient in calming my fears, my dental health is great and I will continue to return to him for care. He has been an incredible doctor and I highly recommend him.

Just got my bridge done, so had 3 major appointments here and everyone was super friendly and did their jobs well. Also helpful with accommodating my financial needs.

If they find out that you have insurance they will charge you more for less work to use up all of your insurance money. The interns that work on your teeth for a majority of the procedure are absent minded, and careless. One of them an older male was forcefully shoving a plastic tube into the side wall of my mouth until I reached to grab it out of his hand after the 5th or 6th time. Mainly I'm upset that I was charged $800 for two fillings and a cleaning. When it should not have been more than $400-500 because they expect me to come back once my insurance renews so they can then try to over charge me again for mediocre treatment. No thanks, I'll go somewhere more professional. Lucky the news doesn't turn this into a story if you guys continue to take advantage of people especially those less fortunate to have simple dental coverage that does not come with unlimited coverage and just want to have healthy teeth

don’t go here they are not good. The dentist care more about the money then the patient.

I have one good doctor there and most of the nurses & techs are great - however I have had terrible experiences with the other doctors for pretty basic care, and they're structure and business practices in general when dealing with billing after my insurance caps for procedures.

I went here yesterday for a routine checkup and cleaning. While most of the people in the office were pretty nice, they refused to clean my teeth without a "deep cleaning" which they were trying to charge me 192 dollars for. It would make sense if I didn't brush my teeth and floss everyday. I'm only in my twenties and have never had a cavity in my life. I called a different dentist today and they said deep cleanings are for people with gum problems which I do not have. I sat in there for over an hour to get x rays and to leave. I'll never go to another comfort dental.

I scheduled a cleaning with this office. Once I arrived for my 9:00am appointment, I waited until 9:30 to be called back, even though there was only one other person there. The nurse asked if I had been waiting long and I explained to her that I had been waiting a half hour already. She encouraged me to let the doctor know, citing the fact that they had no idea I was in the waiting room since my file had not been brought back to them. Another 15 minutes of waiting for the doctor. Once he came in I mentioned that I was frustrated that despite my appointment at 9:00 it was now 9:45 and we were just getting started. Instead of acknowledging my frustration he told me we were not, in fact, getting started late and I should expect to be there for an hour. Six minutes later he finished my cleaning. Confusing to me is how a 6 minute cleaning requires an hour of my time. Then I was dropped off at billing where I was told that they would be coding my cleaning differently than a 'normal' cleaning and I would owe a 20% deductible for this cleaning. When I explained that my insurance deductible had already been met and my plan covers cleanings I was told that because this was coded differently (for a 6 minute cleaning) that I would owe the difference. I asked the receptionist to explain the difference between the cleaning that I got and a 'regular' cleaning and she told me it was the difference of a billing code. While I am not a doctor I am not an idiot either, and despite me asking her several times what the difference was and why I was being billed differently she just kept repeating that is was a different billing code - not what the actual difference was. The takeaway for me was there was no difference than the code billed to insurance. I don't often leave reviews, but if you want your time and money to be respected do not make an appointment here.

I should have known.... I read all the bad reviews and still went in. DUH! After reading all the same negative reviews, I even called to cancel, but decided to keep my appointment because they were the only office that could see me on such short notice. My appointment was at 9:30, I was there at 9 and the dentist showed up at 10. Not cool. I almost anticipated him telling me I would have to come back for this deep cleaning everyone was talking about. And he did. Nothing else was done, so I asked if I could just get a quick cleaning. He said we could do a 'polish'. The assistant was standing right there when he said it and still she tried to walk me out until I protested. "Oh, you wanted that?", she said. Were you NOT just standing here when he said it? Man, she rushed through it quicker than you would believe, nicking and cutting my lip in the process. Then they called me back later that day and quoted me $1400 for some minor cosmetic crap and $180 for what should have been a free routine cleaning the day of. What a joke. I will NEVER set foot in this place again and advise you to do the same! What a waste of time....

Hey look, I've read the reviews from excellent to poor. My wife and I have been going to Cherry Creek for over a year and, unlike another Comfort we used to attend, this one is first rate. We've had experience with Jostead & Light, with Light as our primary dentist. He is thorough, friendly, and honest. Work performed satisfactorily to date: root canal, gum therapy, fillings, annual full mouth xrays, and semi-annual maintenance. We've had no problem with scheduling, billing, or on time performance. While it is true that initial cleaning is cursory (if you regularly brush, floss, and polish it shouldn't need much in the first place!), the dentist does a first rate job on plaque and tartar after the cleaning. We like this system because the doctor, not the technician, gets to see the "big picture" while he/she is cleaning. BBB rates this practice A+, while most Comforts aren't brave enough to be members! We are so satisfied with this office that we will be keeping them-- even after having moved to Loveland 60 miles away!

I would highly recommend Dr David Dinsmore and the staff at Cherry Creek Comfort Dental - I had been going to Dr Dinsmore for years when I lived near their office, and always felt very lucky to have found such a great dentist, after moving, I drive approximately 40 minutes to get to their office, and it is worth the drive!
