Find another dentist. This office is disorganized and confused all the time. The staff has an exceptionally high turnover rate. I'm not sure I saw the same dental assistant more than twice in many visits. I was never well informed about my procedures and was lied to about what was and wasn't part of what I payed for. All the employees are walking on eggshells to avoid confrontation with the tyrannical egomaniac Dr. Carter. I wish I had followed my initial gut feeling and avoided the place all together.

Living Dream

This happened weeks ago but I wanted to give the office kudos for taking good care of me. I broke a tooth and Greeley Modern Dentistry was able to get me in right away. Dr. Bruce Howell showed me pictures of my broken tooth and explained how we could fix it. In the past in a previous office it took weeks to get a crown but Dr. Howell was able to make me an all porcelain permanent crown while I waited. Jess at the front desk helped me figure out the financing making the whole provess very painless. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the office

I've been here a few times for convenience sake, despite not having a good experience. The office just doesn't feel professional. It's loud and a bit chaotic, which isn't ideal when most people don't really like going to the dentist to begin with. The first dentist I saw I believe is no longer there, so I will just say I wasn't impressed. A year later I had to go back because of a crown I got while there previously. I waited a long time in the waiting room and I watched Dr. Carter exit the building several times on his phone. Now I know why I was a half hour past my scheduled time. Dr. Carter does not have a good way of speaking with patients, in my opinion and experience. When we talked about implants (unexpectedly), I said, "Oh, aren't those pretty expensive?" He said, "Well, what's expensive?" I didn't quite know how to respond so he said it again and added, "Is $500 expensive, is $5000 expensive?" Look man, I'm the consumer. Stop playing games and tell me the price already. Further than that though, I just don't think he has a good demeanor with patients and other reviewers seem to agree. I will, however, give an extra star because their assistant office manager is great, as is their oral surgeon. He's a fantastic doctor - calm, patient, takes time to answer questions and explain things clearly, which was greatly appreciated after my previous experiences. But because their role is generally minimal, two stars and a non-recommendation from me.

Horrible customer service!!! I waited 40 min in their waiting room for my appointment, and no one said a word to me. I went up to the desk to ask what was going on, only to find a machine was down and they were trying to fix it. Couldn't they have told me that instead of making me sit around for them, only to find out that my appointment was cancelled!? This also happened to me when I took my son. They were running behind and we had to wait 30 min. No one said a word to me then either. The front desk staff are always so unorganized, and it takes them forever to even acknowledge me when i walk in. Customer service is so important. I won't ever return!! They just lost 5 patients.

I don't even know where to begin. Services have been billed to our insurance that were not rendered. They don't answer the phone or return calls. Wait times are ridiculous. The dentists seem like they don't know what they're doing (but they're really nice and professional). Services have been failed to be completed, risking permanent, irreparable damage to my son's mouth. And when the issues were confronted, I was "guaranteed" resolution by today and there has been not even a phone call. My son is missing permanent teeth and needs space maintainers to hold the gap and prevent drifting- we have been waiting a month for a space maintainer (something THEY told ME needed done within about a week to minimize movement). After 2 weeks passed, I called several time with no answer or returned call, sent emails with no response, sent messages through their website with no response. I finally got a hold of someone yesterday and was told the impression of his mouth never got sent in to the lab because "the general dentistry staff just doesn't quite now how that process works." But it was ok! They'd just need me to take time off work and pull my kid out of school to come back in for a new impression of his mouth, then they'd actually send it out to the lab this time to have the space maintainer made and we could just take time off work AGAIN and pull kiddo out of school AGAIN to have it placed. Like the 2 hour appointment we had a month ago was just for giggles??? And this is the SECOND TIME they failed to send an impression out to have a space maintainer made. Yes, oh yes, we gave them a second chance after their first major faux pas and this is how we are treated! Do not waste your time or sanity on these people. They clearly do not care about their patients. Can't even return a phone call like they "promise" to try and resolve their negligence. 😡😡😡

I wish I could give 0 stars. Worst experience of my life, my biggest fear is losing my teeth so I try so hard to take care of them. 2 years ago I went here and was told I had Periodontal disease, I was devastated but I went in for the scaling that they said would help. Expensive procedure, then they want you to buy Rx toothpaste and mouth wash to control it. On my last visit Dr. Carter was a complete jerk, he aggressively poked around my mouth, yelled at one of the assistants then walked out of the room didn't say anything to me. The benifit manager came in talking about another scaling procedure, cavities and how much it would be. I refused to go back after that treatment. I moved to another dentist and was relieved to find out that I DO NOT have periodontal disease, my teeth and gums are healthy, I didn't need scaling! I am so glad that I moved to a new dentist. I will be sure to let everyone now about the bs this practice fed me and will steer people away from this place!

Please don't go here. The staff is rude and over schedule appointments. They blame it one other reasons why they did not notify you of appointment like they stated that my parents cancelled my appointment when I am 27 and do not live with my parents. I sit there in the waiting room for 45 min and they let me know that they canceled my appointment unit I ask them how much longer do I have to wait? Then they give me the excuse that I have no appointment because my parents canceled my appointment!

Also if you go with them they are always trying to up sale you with anything that your insurance will not cover. I know its a business but they make you think that there is no other option but to go with the higher priced procedure. When you ask to clarify why this procedure is needed they will not go into detail. I have asked other dentists and to the best of their knowledge all the extras they want are not needed.

I will not be recommending this office any longer.

This office is the most chaotic, unorganized and unprofessional office that I have ever been a patient in. Monica is the rudest person, and thinks she knows more than she does. It was clear to me that she does not know the billing or insurance side of things when it comes to her job. She does know more than Stephanie however, and that is pretty bad beings is how Stephanie is the office manager! If she has any managerial experience I am willing to bet it is in retail, and when dealing with customers vs. patients...it is a whole new world. One that she should not have ventured into clearly! I feel sorry for the staff working under these 2 dingbats! Dentists are not qualified or at least cannot have much experience, and I will never be back. The work they did was terrible, and when I had it redone at the new dentist I have chosen he told me how terrible the work was that Greeley Modern Dentistry had done.
