Had a good cleaning 6 months ago but just got a bill for $500 demanding payment and saying I'm over 90 days past due and will go to collections. I went in to show them I paid and was told they acquired the business recently and couldn't access some of the past payments and they've been getting several people coming in to dispute charges just like me. So, instead of investigating the bill they just sent out demands for payment so people like me can waste their day off tracking down receipts and driving there to dispute them? Seems unethical. Also, a coworker said he randomly got a bill for $50 from them that he couldn't figure out, but he just paid it. It seems like these guys like the model of the medical industry of sending out gratuitous bills in the hopes that people can't prove they didn't receive services or that they already paid.
