I love the dentists and the hygienists at Sage, but the front staff lately have been incredibly rude, unhelpful, and sometimes downright ignorant about proper customer service skills. I had a snag in insurance and apparently had a very large past due balance that is this close to being in collections because SAGE apparently had an old address for us on file (even though I updated all of that information on my last visit). So, they sent the bill to the wrong address for the past year, but they never bothered to call me about the past due balance. Me and my husband had been there since the time of service, even, and no one bothered to tell us then. They waited to tell me there was an issue, not when I made the appointment, but when I arrived for my dental exam today, anticipating that nothing was wrong. When I got there, talking to the lady at the front desk was like banging my head against a brick wall. She made it seem like MY fault that they didn't have the right information. When I asked her to help me figure out what all I needed to get from Sage's records to allow my insurance to cover the past due services, she offered no advice, just reiterating that the whole situation was my fault. I have been a patient at Sage for 5years, and I have never had a problem with insurance not paying, always was treated with the utmost respect by the dentists and hygienists. I have honestly never been treated more poorly by a customer facing representative. If you are reading this, management at Sage, expect a call from me soon. And I will not speak with the lady I had the misfortune of meeting today. =(

Professional staff, caution taken to protect against COVID, convenient on line scheduling, able to get in the same day. Doctor was great! Recommend if you need a dentist that is actually open when you need them.

I had my first appointment with Sage today. I really loved my previous dentist (whom I was with for 9 years) in Commerce City but moved to Erie last May and needed a new dentist. I have to say that Sage blew me away today; Megan was amazing with explaining my xrays and what the plan was for cleaning my teeth. She was so informative, patient, and kind. I also met Dr. Batliner who was funny and kind. They really made me feel comfortable!

I transferred to Sage Dental after having gone to the same dentist my whole life. Dr. Batliner is so kind and very thorough. Lynda Torres is my hygienist and she is so gentle--I've never had any pain and my teeth feel sparkling clean every time.
I never feel pressured there as I have in the past. I never hear "Well, you know you should be flossing more," or "Let me show you the correct method for brushing." They are all business and get the job done right.
I have never had the opportunity to read any of the magazines in the waiting room because they are always promptly greeting me for my appointment when I get there. I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Batliner and his kind staff. I highly recommend them to all my family (who have all switched to them as well) and friends.
Sage Dental takes the pain out of going to the dentist (no pun intended).

Sage Dental has changed hands, I’ve been with them 4 years now. My hygienist Linda, stayed (yay!) and I just had another excellent experience with the new dentist there, Dr Brody. I’m very pleased 😁

We have been patients for 25 years of this dental clinic. We still think (despite changing dentists by the selling of the practice twice), they are still tops! The dental hygienist is also fabulous! And she is the one I see the most!

They took medicaid but when the Dr found out he basically left the room and never came back so I left...

Since COVID Sage Dental has really lost a step in customer services. If you call to ask questions about billing they are very defensive and argumentative. It is about proving how they are right and how the customer is wrong. I am very disappointment with the declince in customer services and the care for the patients concerns. They have lost their connection with the paitent and do not clearly explain the visit with the paitent before providing treatment. By the time I receive a bill it always shows that I am 30 plus days past due even though this is the first time I have recieved the bill. It is agrivating and frustrating because of the lack of consistency in billing it appears like I have not paid my bill in a timely manner, when in reality it is because they do not send out billing regularly. At this point I would not recommend Sage Dental to anyone.

I have been a loyal costumer to Sage for many years. Even after relocating to Steamboat, I still commute to see the team at Sage. They always make me feel so welcomed and well taken care of. Did I mention, professional, affordable, and clean? I will never go anywhere else for dental work.

Went to Sage Dental today using a Groupon and was super impressed!!! They have a high end x-ray machine which makes the x-rays super efficient. The front desk, dental hygienist and doctor are all very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough!!! I had a very thorough cleaning done that was simultaneously gentle. Afterward they answered all my questions and really went above and beyond to give informative answers. Thanks again Sage Dental!
