Bright Smiles Family and Cosmetic Dentistry

I almost never write reviews. Rarely am I wowed enough by a product or service that it warrants the time it takes to write one. When I received an email asking for a review of Bright Smiles I jumped on it. This is the dental practice everyone dreams of finding. I love this place so much that I drive 4 hours to have my teeth taken care of here. Every single person who works here is special. They treat you like royalty and are so careful to be sure you are heard and taken care of in every way. I never thought I could say I enjoyed going to the dentist but that has all changed. Going to Bright Smiles is like going to see friends or family. That's how welcoming and kind they are here. I've had my teeth cleaned which included gum scraping (entire mouth in one day) and believe it or not - that was a great experience. No pain... . The hygienist was wonderful and made the entire experience as pleasant as possible. I've also had extensive cosmetic work done by the beautiful and talented artist, Dr. Bartlett and her fabulous (and beautiful too) assistant Holly. They are quite a team. Dr. Bartlett is the Leonardo Da Vinci of creating the perfect smile that fits just right for your face. I've seen bad work where the new (very expensive) teeth didn't fit a person's face and they looked like caricatures. Yikes! My cousin and brother in law went to a different cosmetic dentist that ruined their looks with over large wrong teeth that made them look like a horse, so I was hesitant to go to anyone until I saw a friends work done by Dr. Bartlett. Her teeth were amazing and really made her more beautiful... If you are looking for cosmetic dentistry do not hesitate to put your trust in DR. Bartlett. She will give you the perfect smile. I would never go to anyone else for cosmetic work. Let this dynamic duo - Dr. Bartlett and Holly take care of you. Go to the dentist...Aarggh, The pain, the discomfort, No, never!!!
That was me several years ago until my wife forced me to go to Bright Smiles. The first thing I noticed was they treated me like a friend, not just a client. I have had all manner of dental procedures over the years and I can honestly say, "not once have I had any pain!" This group of pro's know exactly what they are doing and do everything in their power to make your visit to the dentist as easy as possible.
For me, there is no other place to get dental work other than Bright Smiles!!!

The professionals at Bright Smiles kept my daughter smiling throughout her first dental appointment; It was such a success that we were able to go from a "get her comfortable" appointment to a cleaning, fluoride, and X-Rays all on her first visit with no fear or objections, just learning and laughter!

Unfortunately I had not had the experience that most of these positive patients have been speaking of but I did have a family member who attended the office and their lack of professionalism and their understanding of insurance benefits, asking the appropriate questions when triaging the patients over the phone and efficiency is not up to the service for the community. I can only hope this office can get better once they see these reviews that are or not what these people are saying. I think that may be is just a bad bunch of skittles that you get a cavity every now and then.

I enjoy bringing my son to this dentist office! He actually looks forward to going. They make him feel special and comfortable.

The facility is nice and the employees are very friendly. The first time we came in for a cleaning, they treated us like family. We've been back several times and still feel the same way. We will definitely keep using them and recommend them to all our friends.

I went in for tooth pain in my wisdom teeth, Dr. Brooks was very friendly and answered all the questions I had and have me the best solutions. Price was very reasonable and the staff were all phenomenal

I called this office, had a appointment in a hour, they were the nicest people I have met in many of years. They took great care of me. If I could give them 10 stars I would. You don't have to go far to find the best dentist office in Ft Walton.

I did my Homework to try to determine what to do about my front tooth. Finally I settled on a Veneer. The work was meticulously done by Dr. Katherine Bartlett. I will admit that I am a difficult person to please, so Dr. Bartlett and her team had her work cut out for her! I am excited to say not only did Dr. Bartlett deliver, but she and her team went above and beyond to make sure that I was involved every step of the way! It is refreshing to see a doctor that is willing to listen to the patient and does not feel threatened by a patient that comes in fully informed and very aware of exactly what she is looking for. I will go back to this office any day. I only wish they were part of my network for all other procedures so that I am not having to pay out of pocket. I will however pay extra if needed, to be able to walk away with the results that I got! Great job guys and Thank you!

I have been a patient for 10 years. Dr. Bartlett is always professional and friendly. All the staff is great. They make gong to the dentist a pleasure not a chore.
