A total RIPOFF OPERATION
I went there in late Feb 2022 when I had just gotten my medicare advantage coverage and was given an oral exam.
I told them that I wished to have both my upper and lower dentures replaced as is provided by my insurance plan.
I explained to the doctor that due to my type of work, I could not be at my job without teeth.
I was told that it takes a while for gums to heal etc, a few weeks or months.
They explained then, that they would do the required extractions and provide " temporary" dentures which would be paid for by my insurance and I would then be required to pay for the permanant ones - each set costing $625.00
I could not do anything at that time because I would be left toothless when it was not convenient. I revisited the same office on May 6.
After they checked their records and found that I'd been there before, I asked again about getting one tooth extracted and asked again about getting the dentures done. This time I was told
1. That I would have to fund the first or "temporary" set and the insurance the permanant ones.
2. When I asked if I could just have the one tooth pulled I was told no because they first needed to make a template for my dentures before pulling the tooth.
The dentures would cost $2500
3. This $2500 could of course be financed and the doctor had the application for the financing in her hand oh, so ready to help me out of this awful dilemma!!!
My God!! What a ripoff!
I left and called Careplus, my insurance provider and when I explained the earlier events the CSR was just as exasperated as I had been.
I will most definitely not be going back there - it's plain that they prey upon the standard ignorant and poorly educated people who have medicare and are forced to use a very poorly managed medicare system.

Excellent dentist practice. I have been their patient since 2005 and I always have had a real nice experience. I visit them regularly for dental cleaning and once for an front tooth implant. Very satisfied with the results. I love Dr. Plata and Dr. Martin, they are really experienced and excellent professional. The personnel is very nice and kind. I highly recommend them.

I have been a patient since 2011 and it's always friendly staff who's always happy to see me. Dr. Rivas – Platas is great, knowledgeable and and have a lot of patience. She takes her time to explain a procedure and the pros and cons of the procedures. I would recommend this place.

I really felt very comfortable & relaxed. I’m very happy i decided on this Dental Group from the 3 choices i was given by my insurance provider. I had to wait two hours for a consultation that I arrived 15 minutes early to. After my scheduled appointment, I was told that I could not have a regular cleaning on my teeth because the doctor insisted an additional cleaning service that would come out of pocket. After expressing my concerns on wanting a regular cleaning, the staff didn't care and said I should go elsewhere, which I am happy to do after todays visit. I do not recommend going here. Save your time and money.

The Dental Group takes the time to explain how to properly care for your teeth. They are both compassionate and knowledgeable. The office/set up is especially clean. I’m happy that I went to the dentist.

My mom Loves the whole staff starting from the front desk to the Doctors, assistants and of course the Lovely hygienists :) Very professional and prices are very reasonable! I Highly recommend this office to my friends and family members! Dr. Martin is the owner and has a great personality and a big heart !!
