because I know I’m in the best hands when treated by Dr. Rivas-Plata .She’s very thorough in explaining your diagnosis and the different options you may have. When having a procedure, she tells you step by step what she’s doing and constantly checks with you to make sure you are not in pain. I highly recommend her.

Dr Platta is great, I've been her patient for over 15 years. Lilly is my dental hygienist, she's awesome!

Stay away from this facility!! This place over charged me for dental services and once I found out through my insurance company through my explanation of benefits that they had done so I contacted them for reimbursement. It was well over $100 That they owed to me. I explained to Maria I think is her name in billing that I had an insurance representative on the phone that could explain to her why I should receive a reimbursement. She made me wait like 20min in the lobby. I then told Maria that the representative could not wait on the phone all day and that I spoke to her earlier and told her that I would be coming to show her my explanation of benefits. She was very rude and told me they were short staffed. So finally she speaks with the insurance representative and guess what?!! She begins to argue with them and tell them how they do not owe me money!! Are you serious?! The insurance rep explained to her that they are contracted to provide services to me for a specific price and that they need to reimburse me. They also tried to double bill a procedure that was included in another and the insurance company denied it!! She looks at me and says "oh they tell you one thing and me another". She then proceeds in a heated debate with the insurance rep, asks for her supervisor and says she wants the supervisor to talk to Dr. Plata. Dr. Plata said she understood the rep. So then I informed Dr. Plata of how I had a terrible experience with Maria and her attitude and guess what?! Dr. Plata tries to take up for her friend because they were both Spanish. All I wanted was my money and good customer service. I do not recommend this place at all! They rip you off and fight tooth and nail to keep your money. This was not the first time they ripped me off, but it will be the last! They do not contact you informing you that you paid too much either. Get this then the Doctor writes me saying she can't provide me with services anymore. Lol I already had made it clear that day that that I would not be back and had contacted a new dental place when I walked out of the door. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away!

Whenever I enter this office, I am greeted with warm welcomes and smiles! I love the staff and Dr. Martin. The front desk staff are very kind, patient, and always try to help their patients. Highly recommended!

Do not go to the Dental Group; consider this a fair warning! They deserve a low rating or zero stars. Please read all that I wrote.

The morning of June 26, 2019, I was told to pay extra for free X-rays. However, when I asked the receptionist to explain the charges for X-ray, she stated that it is 'too much reading' and 'too many paragraphs'. After calling my insurance company I was informed that I have a right to ask and she should show me the benefits and fees, in writing, and explain to me, when I inquire. She was unprofessional and avoided answering me. I was upset and I paid the extra $$$$.

On a different occasion, a front office personnel misinformed me that I owed $50.00 from a previous visit for a filling. I was calm and denied that I owe more money. After she looked into it further she found her mistake. She did not apologize for telling me it was my error. The front receptionist also stated previously that my insurance plan only paid for one filling per year. After calling my insurance company, I was told my benefits include four fillings per year, for free.

In addition, the dental hygienist, Lily, on two (2) occasions requested I pay extra money for additional cleanings and I needed and come in more often. I do not like price gouging, while I am paying for a service. My former dentist, of 30 years, never told me that I needed more than 2 cleanings in one year.

I do not trust price gouging practices! This upsets me a great deal.
Later in July of 2019, Dr. Plata wrote me a letter: "I am no longer able to continue as your dentist".

First of all, as a senior woman and an Ordained Reverend, I find this office unprofessional 100%. When they cannot get their way, they reject any comments and write us off.
I had been a patient of this office for 10 years.
Finding another dental provider is a good solution for me.

Love my dentist! Went in for a cleaning today and I am very pleased. Wont go anywhere else! I actually get excited to go to my appointments now lol..

I had the worst experience ever. I waited for almost three hours on my fisrt visit just for an x-ray. After my first visit, I had a follow-up for a cleaning, when calling them to verify the date, they provide me with a date that I have not aware of, when i asked them to speak with the manager. The receptionist told me that the manager was busy and she no longer want my service and hang up on my face... Wow, unbelievable... not professional and nobody showed any sort of concern, it feels like their poor service level is the norm. This is not the way to treat nobody!!
