The Office Staff is absolutely Amazing. Office is kept extremely clean. Dr Johnson explains everything step by step, always making sure you understand what will and is taking place. Goes above and beyond and excellent bed side manner. I love that he was in full communication with my oral surgeon working as a team. So glad I got referred to his Office and been back several time’s for additional services! I will definitely continue to see him and highly recommend him. So thrilled that I found a Dentist that listens to me, explains thing’s, and take’s his time!

Great experience. Appointment was quicker than I expected. Office staff was very cordial and professional. The cleaning and X-rays performed by Georgiana was performed flawlessly and she was a delight to be around. Dr Johnson was also very professional with great communication. I have recommended their office to my family already and I plan to go back. I have been a patient with Columbus Family Dentistry since 2018. I thoroughly enjoy my experience with my dental hygienist and the location convenience. In 2020, my insurance changed, I gave the office my new insurance, and the office started billing an incorrect insurance provider. I was recently alerted about the issue on August 29, 2022. I explained to the office manager that it was the wrong insurance provider and come to find out they had been billing my dad’s insurance as if he was me (our names and ssn are alike) and he was not using this dental office! The office is making it seem like it is my responsibility to pay a bill due to an error on their end! I have been calling since I received the bill in the mail roughly three weeks ago, I even went to the office to resolve it. The office manager did not talk to me, but allowed the receptionist to offer me a 50% write-off on the bill. Of course, I did not accept because writing 50% off shows that it is known that I’m not at fault and if I agreed that would mean I am acknowledging the bill is my responsibility when it is not. I have asked to have a meeting with Dr.McLaurin and I still have not received a response from Monday October 3, 2022 after calling 5 times. I am definitely disappointed and the issues could have been easily resolved with accountability. I did not want to post this review in hopes that the issue would be resolved, but I see otherwise. Now it seems that the office is avoiding my calls and I am trying to handle this as professionally as possible.

Columbus Family Dentistry is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I called the office regarding the extraction of a tooth and when I tell you that Jessie was the absolute best she was. The entire staff as well as Dr. Mclaurin and Dr. Johnson are the BEST! If you are searching for a dentist I would highly recommend Columbus Family Dentistry!

My dental hygienist Pam has been wonderful over the years and I’ve not had any issues. I recently found out my children’s insurance hasn’t been paying. This is dated back to 2020. The office kept booking appointments and never notified me there was a problem with their insurance claims or indicated a balance due. It’s now 2023 and I’m being asked to contact and resolve with the insurance company. The front of the organization has no clue as to what their job responsibilities are, very rude, and didn’t want to take responsibility of the mistakes made by the office. The service I received today was the absolute worse I’ve ever received from any organization.
